I have been doing between 1500-1600 a day since December 17th, split over 5 meals. I am almost halfway to my goal, and couldn't feel better! It started rough, but I am no longer hungry all the time, and I still can fit in a lot of the "comfort foods" since it's all about portion control!

Feeling good myself. When I decided to stop making other happy, and decided it was time to make myself happy, things changed! Of course my family comes first, but after that it's all me now! =)

It's all really dependent on how much you do during the day. I know a lot of sites calculate how active you are differently. I would start at 1850, do that for a week or so, see how you do. If you are not losing weight, then move up to 2000. For me, I started at 1500, lost weight then stalled quickly, it was suggested to…

For me, I am at about 1600 calories, and I spread them pretty evenly. If you have one meal that's noticeably large than the others, I would suggest maybe having that for lunch. It would probably make you less hungry at dinnertime anyhow. But as long as dinner isn't very late, it probably does not make much of a difference!…

My guess would be you're replacing fat with lean muscle, which is a very good thing :happy:
