soda, kool aid, alcoholic beverages... pretty much any drink with calories in it that ISN'T a meal replacer (like a breakfast smoothie or a protein shake)

i'd be concerned that people would be asking a lot of questions about some scars i have, which would make me uncomfortable. i never ask anyone anything personal. i dont even ask people what they do for a living! lol. i let people tell me as much as they want to tell me and leave it at that. i wish more people would do…

and with that (that being a toddler awaking from her slumber), i'm outta here.

you do not want to know.
-
does the fact i have *kitten* grapes make you feel any better?
-
you are welcome! i personally know I would have benefitted from seeing such a post before getting pregnant or even while i was pregnant. A lot of stress and worry would have been avoided.

it wasn't a judgement on you because i dont know you! and i dont judge people on appearance at all. do others? most definitely. can i point them out? sorry, i can't (unless they point themselves out anyway). my take is that we should all be continually working on ourselves, always striving to be better. becoming a mom…

"sorry to hear you are so caught up in the way that you look that you can't see past your body to what it actually produced." i'm so caught up in my body that that it is eclipsing my child. right.

oh god. in that case, i'm ****ed.

personally, i'm not too fond of satan. after all, satan is responsible for putting those damned calories in ice cream and beer.
-
HAHAHA. love this

i'm sure another person given my same situation would think they didn't fare all that well. the hyperemesis during pregnancy, needing back surgery, the hair loss, the now deflated boobies... definitely didn't make for an ideal pregnancy and post baby body. HOWEVER, i dont focus on these things. yes, genetics made it so i…

that's quite the generalization. of course you'll care what kind of body you'll end up with. or at least you should care. you only get one body, after all

i dont want to have three children. the idea of children outnumbering the parents freak me out.
-
mean boob comments? i hope no one is on a forum somewhere discussing my boobs with strangers. if anyone is going to discuss my boobs, it ought to be me.

i based it off of many people in my family along with many friends. i hate it when i see people call themselves fat or talk bad about their bodies and not do anything about it. i hate it more when said person is a mother and there are children around who can hear them. i grew up with a mom who always called herself 'fat'…

by "let yourself go", believe it or not i didn't mean 'end up looking like anything other than me'. hahaha. you guys are too funny. I am referring to the women who dont even try. the women who are self described as being "fat", who complain about being overweight/out of shape, the women who HATE their body and yet eat…

and my body is definitely not perfect. i'm still breastfeeding my 1.5 year old and definitely have lost some volume in that area. i'm merely working with what i got.

i got back problems from surgery too. when my daughter was 5 months old, i had microdiscectomy done on my L5/S1 disc.

isn't diet and exercise all about generalizations and anecdotal evidence? obviously there will ALWAYS be an exception to the rule.

thanks

i never intended to make strangers on the internet feel bad. i find it odd that strangers can be made to feel bad by other strangers on the internet. that's just something i'll never understand.
-
lol. perfect pregnancy. if you call having hyperemesis and vomitting several times a day, every single day for 4 months straight perfect. I realize that not everyone bounces back as quickly as i did. recently, i heard someone say they dont want kids because they dont want their body to be 'ruined'. i posted this to show…

i am having the hardest time making the pics show so i've resorted to links.

hey! i'm sure you'll do fine. Be sure to eat protein with EVERY meal and try to get in as much protein as possible (over 100g a day). It keeps you feeling full and satisfied.
