I am 37 and hoping to hit my goal before my 38th birthday in October. My mom recently told me that your late 30s is when you want to work your hardest to look your hottest, because after that it's all downhill (thanks, Mom).

Same here! I am looking to lose about 30lbs. I am a shorty too @ 5'2'!

My 3 yo is an amazing sleeper. I think it depends on the kid. But a book that helped us out was "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child" by Marc Weisbluth. It may sound contrary, but perhaps she needs to go to bed sooner, or also nap during the day. (Sleep begets sleep).…

Oct 7th - add me if you're my twin :flowerforyou:

Sometimes I have a few crackers and that helps. Then I faceplant the pillow and call it a day! As an aside, I recently read that more sleep can result in more weight loss -- ideally 8 hours. I also go to bed around that time but get up at 6am-7am. I'd like to go to bed earlier!

Agree with the first statement! And when I breastfed, I didn't have dairy as it gave my baby gas.

OH that's so me!! Full time working mom of a 3 1/2 yr old. I call him my other full time job ;) I love sharing mom stories and swapping healthy mommy recipes. i NEVER get time to work out but try to stay active by walking places, cleaning (unavoidable) and doing at-home exercises after my son's in bed.

Add me if you want! I am also trying to lose the post baby weight (3 1/2 yrs later haha). I love sharing mom stories.

Add me if you like! I am looking for more support too, and love a good laugh!

Thanks! I have to look for that.

I love any steamed (or sauteed) green veggie with lemon juice. It's so good (to me) that way. Last night I ate a huge plate of kale, and it was delicious. The lemon juice helps a lot.

LOVE THIS idea! What do you use for the burrito shell? Any good recommendations on light wraps?

Hi busy mom! I am in the same boat. Would love to hear from you and others some easy (toddler friendly) recipes, as well as how you are able to fit in exercise! I try to walk where ever I can. And always try to plan out dinner the night before. But it's not always easy! Good luck!

I throw six baby carrots and some onion (or shallot, my preference) in my food processor, mix it in a bowl with 2 TBSP light mayo and a can of light tuna (in water, not oil), and eat half of the mixture with 8 rice crackers. It's about a 160 calorie snack -- and filling too! And has lots of protein and Vitamin A (from the…

I use a little bit of Pam organic spray - just enough to make it not stick.

What bothers me the most about this is the fact that they're commenting on appearance. As a rule, I try not to do that. No one never knows what kind of issues someone has and how a seemingly-benign comment might be misinterpreted. When I had lost a lot of weight at one point I would get upset when people would comment on…

When my husband recently asked me what he can do to help me achieve my weight loss goal, I told him: * Understand I won't be able to always eat meals with you * Don't say anything (example: should you be eating that?) The rest is up to me. That means making healthy choices, having healthy options available, and sticking to…

Good for you!! That must feel great.

For me, drinking lots of water and cutting back on sugar helps!

Thanks everyone! The hardest part for me sometimes is the fact that my son refuses to eat most of the time .... and it so happened that I would end up eating my dinner PLUS his leftovers. 10 pounds later... I am so mad at myself for gaining more weight on top of the baby weight. My pre-baby weight was 155 which for me, was…
