  • im in. finals this week. ugh. im going to be so happy when they are over. graduate school is easier on one hand, but when it comes to tests it is soo not! the tests are all cummulative, short answer/ fill in the blank/ definition. blah blah blah. needless to say, i need a trip to the spa.
  • great job. I have witnessed you lose weight, and little did I know-- you were doing it sans "working out". congrats. I know how much you have progressed. be proud, and congrats on ur elliptical purchase. those things are little gifts from god..... ok a BIG gift from God.
  • I have done the Daniel Fast a few times myself. I pray that God will moves in your life during this time of seperation. You have encouraged me to fast as well. I am thinking maybe you can drink/ eat protein bars/ shakes in replace of beans. IDK, im not too good on nutrition. But what I do know is God will protect you, and…
  • lol- funny you post this. Yesterday in my class I was thinking how out of place I look. I am wearing a HUGE shirt- from almost 40 lbs ago, and these tennis shoes that look like pumps... you know the ones from 15 years ago. I look like I am wearing boats on my feet. I have realized that this could be where my tripping comes…
  • hey dora- you can do it! Just start again. I know exactly how you feel. I work full time (too) and go to graduate school full time as well. I start work at 5:30 am, get off at 1:30, go straight to the gym, then to school, and i dont get off school until 10. I wake up at about 4 everyday. I totally can relate to you.…
  • depending upon your starting weight, you can lose that much weight in 10 weeks no prob without any of those meal plans. with working out, tracking your food- you are well on your way. that way you can save some money and buy some new clothes when the others don't fit :-}
  • Hi! I was a lot like you, I use to be on a competitive cheer team too, and dance. I have been out of high school of 7/8 years now... wait a minute, I think actually 9. lol. time flies. I have completed a zumba class now 3 different times, and I totally love it! It brings me back to those days when we would practice…
  • i met my husband at a gas station 6 years ago.... the best day of my life.
  • you can do it. I am on week 4 of C25k, and i have found that week 3 and 4 is easier (for me) than week 2. Even though the intervals are longer, there is less of them- so for me personally it is easier. Congrats on week 2, keep up the dedication.
  • lol, i dont think the rush of jumping on the scale and seeing the numbers decrease will ever wear off. enjoy the first few weeks, before you know it... you will have to fight for every pound. congrats on your progress, it seems that you are doing very well. and welcome, this site helps a lot. I lost 33 lbs in two months-…
  • Ahhhh the good ole days. I think I lost close to 8 my first week.

  • need to lose at least 30-40. yay! i am almost half way there. yippy.
  • weigh yourself first thing in the morning. maybe that will help. I get discouraged sometimes because i weigh myself right after I eat, or after a long day, and it is always up. the morning weight is most accurate.
  • one of everything is ALL sounds delish. :-}
  • you look great. your face has definition again. love it. i battle with my neck, when I lose weight I dont look like one big chin, you can actually see the extention of my neck. great job!
  • That is amazing. You can tell it is the same women (in both pictures), but the last one you just look like your shinning. You should be so proud of yourself. You are an inspiration. I bet you do not hide from the camera anymore. How long did it take you to lose the 60 pounds to get you from the 200's to the 100's?…
  • throw them away... qucik. lol- sounds like you have some pretty good will power, because if they were in my house- one bite would have turned into the whole tray vanishing like a magic trick.
  • hooray! you can do it. you past the hard part, and especially now that you see results- proceed with caution bc u may become addicted. ahh.

  • I try to plan to eat at a place (because I do a lot of eating out during the weekend) where it has the capability of being healthy. As an example, my husband and I wanted dinner on saturday after a long day- so we went to a location where there was something for him near by and something for me. He got chinese food-- ya…
  • dedication, perserverance, and hardwork. You are able! Find a pair of jeans you want to fit into- and keep those as a goal. Everyonce and a while, try to put them on again, and before you know it-- it wil become easier and easier, and they will fit much better. That always helps me. Im not a professional- but I have lost…
  • Hope you had a good work out. I cannot wait to go to the gym after work today. Well I mean, I can wait, but I am looking forward to getting back at it, after I took the weekend off. Monday's are always the hardest to get going again. I need to implement excersize into my weekends. however, i dont have the time. ahhhh!…
  • 2 lbs is great, much less 12 lbs. You should continue to be proud of your self. Any weight loss is not easy-- it takes dedicated, endurance, and discipline-- and you, have exhibited all three of these. Be proud and motivated, before you know it those pants will fall off, and you will be giving your old clothes away,…
