  • Maybe I can look at it. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to look at buying alcohol to destress a bit (nursing school sucks sometimes) but maybe as long as I keep it to a reasonable amount, it'll be ok.
  • Sometimes I feel bad because it seems like it smells extra fishy, but if that happens, I put the container in a trashcan with a lid to seal it a little bit. It's yummy and convenient and so I eat it a lot.
  • Actually the broccoli wasn't making me particularly gassy. lol
  • What kind of wine? Any time I drink alcohol, I write it off as a cheat day because it's like none of my alcohols that I've got are even remotely low calorie. And besides I get way hungry when I drink. It's probably a good thing I drink maybe once or twice a month at most.
  • Tuna seems to have become a staple for me when I'm at work. I buy the 4 packs of tuna and grab a mayo packet and mix it. I'll either eat it with chips or just a fork. I had a stash of broccoli that I was eating nightly with the tuna but I'm out so I need to probably pick some up.
  • Ooh that looks yummy
  • Well running at an incline greatly increases the calories burned. But also, if you're going based off of the treadmill for the calories burned, that's typically a pretty inflated number. I don't remember numbers as to how inflated it is, but I'm sure you could find something on it.
  • I try to refrain from them for the most part because most of the time, I have an awful habit of losing control. But this is a single serving bag, and I had it with my tuna fish so I'm like meh I'm good. I think my entire meal was 300-400 calories so it's not like I'm going over anything
  • I might or might not be eating a bag of chips right now :| BUT it's a 140 calorie bag and it's part of my breakfast/lunch/whatever meal I'm calling this right now.
  • Hi guys! I'm a night shifter. I just saw this thread. So hi~
  • Good lord, some people are so sensitive. @steponebyone and everyone else who's getting offended by someone saying to look for the million other threads. Some places have rules in place that you have to make sure something hasn't been posted or asked recently before posting. It clogs up the content for other legitimate,…
  • Personally, I love people noticing that I've lost weight. I know damn well that I'm fat and need to lose weight, and it feels good to have someone notice how hard I've been working to get to where I am. Now saying that, I do hate when people ask me how I did it. I'm just like the normal way man. Sometimes I'm tempted to…
  • lol omg I'm dying. I started reading one article and gave up. This isn't helping your cause. You know why drinking sodas can help lead to obesity? Because sodas are empty calories. A calorie is a calorie. Period. But when you're drinking a ton of soda, like 9.9 times out of 10 (ok so that number is slightly arbitrary but…
in Diets! Comment by Sarri93 August 2015
  • First off, following a diet is absolutely ridiculous if you're wanting to keep weight off. Sure you might lose it, but if you're not doing something sustainable, you're going to gain the weight right back as soon as you stop the diet. That's why so many people have issues with yo-yoing. I've started making healthy changes…
  • Hey I need some friends too.
  • Alright thanks guys! I'll probably be stocking up on things tomorrow. I'm not on a particular diet. Just trying to eat better. I have a bad habit of forgetting to eat sometimes (some days I'm lucky if I eat anything all day long) and other days I binge. I've been finding recently that I don't have the energy to get through…
  • Oh no! I missed this :( I Think I was a bit short today. I'd have worked on it if I'd seen this whenever it was posted.
  • Ooh this ought to be fun! I'm joining this boot camp twice a week starting tomorrow, but I'll be trying this as well. I think I can get through 10 minutes of it. Now as to how many reps I'll do.... That I'm not sure about :3
  • Hey guys! My name is Sara, and I'm just 19, but I'm needing to lose roughly 40 pounds to join the Air Force. I'd never really considered joining the armed forces in any way shape size or form before, but with what's been going on in my life, I figured the structure would help me out. And also, being a part of something.…
  • Hey there! I'm s sophomore in college. Well I was. The reason I joined MFP is because I'm trying to get into the Air Force. I've already bitterly ranted about that, so I won't do it again. lol Anyway, I'm Sari, I'm 19, and I have 3 semesters of pre nursing under my belt :3
  • This seems interesting. How exactly does it work? I really need to remember to log my eating and exercise here because I'm notoriously bad at that. And I have to lose 40 pounds to even be considered for the Air Force. And I'm a bit ticked about that because (yeah I'm being immature and all but I don't even care right now,…
