I'd start by asking yourself what you gave up. Did you give up caffeine by chance? Cause you could definitely get headaches (I know I do) when you don't get your caffeine since your body is probably addicted to it. They will go away eventually. Did you add anything new? You could have a food intolerance and not know it. Is…

Do IT!! And just think, with a class that big, they'll be others like you who are also there for the first time.

cup of low fat plain yogurt with blueberries and 2 TBSP of flaxseed, coffee with milk

Really, its about what you want. I know people who only do cardio (runners) and maybe lift weights one to two times a week. They aren't strong. If you want to tone up and build strength, weight related work is the best. Intense cardio will burn fat, you're burning calories; once you burn through your sugar you start…

Moving helps. Light exercise if you are REALLY hurting. Go for a walk, do some arm circles, loosen up your muscles and then stretch! Don't do any lifting, your muscles need to recover. But movement and stretching will help. Make sure you're warmed up before you stretch.

If you can't live without poptarts - try making your own. http://smittenkitchen.com/2010/04/homemade-pop-tarts/ At least this way you know what is going into them...but you probably have an intolerance to something. The sugar rush is definitely giving you the low energy. I usually feel like crap too after eating a sugary…

Its a fad diet. In the first "phase" you take "hcg" drops and are only allowed to eat 500 calories/day and not exercise. You can't do much of anything actually because your body can't safely sustain itself on 500 calories. You'll lose weight because you are starving yourself, not because of the fancy drops.

Your body burns sugar - that is its energy source. You need carbs. That being said: There are "good carbs" and "bad carbs". "Bad carbs", like table sugar, sucrose, get digested very quickly and spike your insulin (like all carbs do) - your body burns those carbs - giving you energy (aka sugar rush). This is generally…

My step mom can't eat soy because it gives her migraines. It is highly possible its a food intolerance of some sort.
-
It could be as simple as your socks getting funky creases and cutting off circulation or shoes not fitting right. Or it could be bad circulation which means you should see a doctor.

I LOVE Cooking Light - they have all sorts of recipes on their website. I get the magazine too. The biggest thing is the use of spices and vegetables, rather than cream and butter, to season.

Cook your chicken and/or veggies in a TBSP of olive oil. That'll add ~200 calories of good fats. If you're not worried about cholesterol, its okay to eat the egg yolks. That will also add calories. Fats are high in calories and if you aren't getting enough are good things to include - just make sure its healthy fats and…

You can still do cardio, but maybe not as intense - start out slow and build up intensity. Really, just listen to your body. If you feel sluggish, chances are you should take it easy, if not, you're probably fine. I haven't had issues after getting my blood drawn.

I found that if you buy what's in season, you'll have better luck. I also watch sales on meat and stock up when it is cheap then freeze. Make your own meals - not the premade ones and it'll be cheaper. Also, if you make the full amount in a recipe and freeze the rest, it'll go a long way. Frozen veggies are good. Rice is…

Nuts pack a LOT of calories and good fats. They don't usually make me feel full.

Its highly possible. I find that if I don't fuel well before a workout, I can get a little light headed if I work too hard. Definitely have some protein but you also need good carbs. Try some whole grain toast with some peanut butter and a banana. Since your gym class is in the morning - go a bit heavier on the calories…

Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn't focus on on staying within my calorie count for this week. Just make sure you eat good food. Bring lots of fruits and veggies to snack on (these are lower in calories anyway). You need good fuel for your brain! You should just focus on your test, its stressful enough without having to…

There are definitely a lot of processed foods in your diet. Add more fiber for one - not processed sugars. Replace white rice and pasta with brown rice and whole grain pasta. Find a cereal with around 6g of fiber per serving - Kashi has some great ones, and I've found target has the best prices on the cereals. You could…

You're building muscle, which weighs more than fat. Plus, a pound of muscle takes up much less space than a pound of fat - hence the 7 inches lost. Keep it up, you're doing just fine.

Google "nutrients in milk"...

Sorry, This isn't true. Babies get all the iron they need from their mother's milk up to 7 months. Yes they have stores that have been depleted, but they are getting iron from breast milk - quite efficiently actually, with a 50% absorption rate. http://wholesomebabyfood.momtastic.com/Iron.htm Cow's milk does have iron in…

It sounds like an allergic reaction rash I got a few years ago. I went to the doctor and they prescribed a two week supply of allergy medication. They asked if I had changed my laundry soap or lotion or something, but I couldn't pin point anything. Within a week it was gone and hasn't come back. I also got one in the…

Almonds - roast them yourself to get the "roasted flavor" without all the added salt. Veggies with hummus (I love the small sweet peppers) - Costco sells individual serving packages of hummus which is awesome. Celery with peanut butter.

"BCAA's, caffeine and some grape juice" You might not be eating something - but you're still fueling your body with something.
-
You're assuming all the meals are carb-loaded and that's not always the case. For some yes, but not for others.
-
What works for some, doesn't always work for others. I've heard of people who didn't eat breakfast, lose weight once they started eating breakfast. I don't eat right when I get up...I eat a couple hours later at work, when I am hungry. But I need breakfast to function properly, my body is not happy when I don't eat and my…

I love chocolate milk after a workout. Don't like the taste of most commercially available sports drinks and they're expensive. Really, you're just trying to give your body something to burn instead of muscle after you've used up all your reserve carbs. So the natural sugars in the milk and the sugar in the chocolate get…
