Learn from it and let it go. Life is too short to dwell on things you cannot do anything about. If you do it again, then beat yourself up. But for now let it go and hope that's the worst thing that ever happens to you. :flowerforyou:

dlife.com has tons of information and recipes. I agree, you should check out diabetic nutritional class at your local hospital. Ours was only 4 evening sessions. They really do help you understand the whole counting healthy carbs thing. :flowerforyou: good luck

They call it starvation mode. You are not eating enough so your body is not releasing any calories. You need 1200 just to live. Eat healthy whole foods and eat your allotted calories.

Don't give up. My husband passed recently of lung cancer and emphysema. He was only 58. It may seem old to you now but it's not. It was a horrible and long year and a half. It was like watching someone trapped under an ice covered lake and all you could do is watch, no matter how hard you fought to help free him.

Sugar is sugar. Try to stick to healthy servings and go by your Carb count. I don't track sugar it is included in Carb count so I go by that. No more then 15 in a serving and no more then 45 in a meal. Works for me. I'm pre diabetic.

Up you calories. Better you lose a little slower then give up. Try eating more low cal protein ( egg whites, yogurt, nuts, tuna, chicken) As a snack. It will satisfy you and keep you full longer. Tea helps too.

You are an inspiration to all. Congratulations on your success.
