I guess I'm lucky in this regard... to me, most beer tastes vile and as for wine... I don't understand why someone would take good, fresh, sweet, fruity, delicious grape juice and let it rot. My theory is some guy a million years ago tricked someone into believing it was supposed to taste that way and the human ego took…

Hey, men are jerks. And this one sounds like a particularly insecure, spiteful one. (And he probably has a very small p@n!$) You were confident and you felt sexy before... don't let one "sour grapes" twit set you back! You look pretty hot to me!

Summertime, way to go. I don't call that a small step. To me that's a big step in, not only, recognizing the behaviors that lead to your situation, but actually doing something about them. Can I say that's a HUGE step? Congrats!

How about shaming the parents who teach their kids these terrible, self-destructive behaviors when they are at too young an age to know better and make better choices for themselves. I'm sorry, but I'm in China now, the land of the One Child Policy and I see, on a daily basis how terribly spoiled these children are. I'm…

Comfort eating, my biggest downfall. Well done for winning that battle!

There are about 10,000 students in China who know me as "Da Pigu", my Chinese nickname. It means Big Butt... your "big" ain't got nuthin!

Yes I am, they make me feel sexy! My 4 homemade flour tortillas have more calories than the 1/2 of ground pork I put in them. True or False
-
False. At least not that I know of... The next person thinks that Boy George is the epitome of English manliness! Mine was the 3 kids question, OF COURSE I LOVE BACON!!!!

Doesn't matter for weight management? Interesting. I was always told, for a "normal" schedule, say bedtime is 10 or 11, to not eat after 7:00. Before I was got older, with a slower metabolism, I could drop 5-10 lbs in a month just by cutting back on sodas and not eating after 7:00. Now, I usually do have a snack in the…

I am currently working and living in China. I have a limited amount of time for my lunch or dinner when I am working and, while there are an abundance of choices around me for meals... I have no idea WTF they put in the foods here. Kind of hard to track calories, etc. when you don't know what's in the dish. So... by…

The 3 teams I most despise, in particular order: Michigan (sorry) OSU LSU

Great, and brave, first step. I'm not one of the ladies, but I am 45 and about 280 lbs.... why, we're practically MADE to do this weight loss thing together! People are giving great tips... really start with the little things. I'm just in my first week on MFP, filling out the Food Diary religiously. It's really opening my…

Hey man, great job. It's a big thing, a really big thing for losing weight. The caffeine addiction is what gives you the headaches and moodiness, I've just done the same thing myself. I always started the day with a 20 oz. bottle of Pepsi (or Coke, depending on my mood) and a couple cups of coffee. Trying to cut down on…

The Irish one I mentioned earlier is Kilkenney... And great one I haven't been able to find in awhile, even before I came to China, is Oxford Raspberry Wheat. One of the first "different" beers I had. Amazing.

In another time and another place, I could have been one of those guys. My sincere apologies. And look at me now. Karma...?

I worked in a liquor store in the 1990's used to sell TsingTao, "Imported from China" for about $7.00-8.00 for a six-pack. Here, in 2012 I can buy a bottle for 15-10rmb in a bar... that's about $2.00. I can buy it in the grocery store for about $0.45... lol Oh, and it's really not worth the 45 cents.

I'm with you... Bud Light, Miller Light, Coors Light... any light lager... is it really beer? It's more like having sex in a rowboat... F%@*ing close to water. Admittedly, I am in China where most of the local beers, though cheap, have "up to" 3.5% alcohol. Woo-hoo! What's the point? :) Not being able to get many REALLY…
