I feel so awful if I eat gluten that I no longer miss it. Besides there's plenty of gluten free "junk" food so there's not much to miss. Personally I don't eat any gluten or grains. Lots of grass fed meat and veg makes for a happy me :) gluten used to make me ill for five days straight if I ingested it by accident. I think…

You just stated you watched your carb intake. Carbohydrates = sugar. You limited your sugar intake therefore

Watch Sugar: The bitter truth by Robert Listig on YouTube or read his book. Fructose does not metabolise in the same way glucose does. Personally if you want to lose weight then you do need to limit your fruit intake, especially because you need to be insulin sensitive to be able to do so. You'll find many threads…

Not the best reference but gives you an idea of why people avoid soy. Personally I became intolerant to dairy so I turned to soy. I then noticed many negative effects for me and my body, removed it from my diet and feel much better without it, also put muscle on much easier without it (soy is oestrogenic so affects your…

First of all look at whether your one person that your basing this on is infependabt. I'm assuming you watched Fork over Knives being this man featured heavily in it. Tests in the fifties initially showed an association between early death by heart disease and fat deposits and lesions along artery walls. Because…

Lol or you could get some info from people that actually studied it: http://www.marksdailyapple.com/bone-dating-life-span/#axzz2Mz7MK5hD

You just lost all credibility.

That's because many died at birth, were eaten by predators or had accidents. They had no heart disease, cancer, obesity etc...

He didnt say he eats at whole foods? That's your assumption. Some of us but our meat from the farm and buy our vegetables from farm shops. Grok most certainly did not live on vegetation alone.
-
Great! I too buy directly from a farm where the animals are entirely grass fed, free range and organic. The chickens are allowed to roam for their natural diets. They are all slaughtered within ten miles of the farm by the same people that raised them. There's a big difference in the quality and condition of these animals…

I suggest you up date your knowledge....cholesterol does not lead to atherosclerosis. There has never been any research that linked high cholesterol to atherosclerosis even the research this myth was based on was seriously flawed....not even the doctors believe it anymore. At least research it: here's a good place to…

Dietary cholesterol has no correlation to cholesterol in the body. The body reduces its cholesterol output to balence the cholesterol you eat. There is no need to avoid dietary cholesterol. There is also no correlation between cholesterol and heart disease. Heart disease is caused by inflammation and small dense LDL (I.e.…

I make all my own burgers etc...out of real food :) I certainly wouldn't have come on here promoting these Morningstar burgers as healthy.
-
I haven't even read this thread but there's no way in hell that stuff would be part of my diet. Each to their own thou :) Edit: just to clarify....any food with this amount of ingredients is far far from healthy IMO. Grass fed Beef...one ingredient and I know what it is, Soy is massively genetically modified as is all corn…

Looking fantastic. Where's the comp Matt?
-
Lol unfortunately a lot of what you just said isn't right

This is over simplifying things. Other factors have to be considered for instance if you have high cortisol levels you will not lose weight. Sleep, lifestyle, stress, illness etc all have to be factored in.

Actually Paleo and keto are excellent for auto immune disorders- and if you want to take it further then the auto immune protocol is even better but it's very restricted. Anyone wanting to know more about this particular point feel free to message me Edit: my photo was taken a week ago, I haven't been able to exercise…

I weigh 130 and I'm Paleo- I eat lots of fat and organs ;)
-
Well it would take a massive burn to burn it off...:/
-
Hmmmm lets give if a go lol. Lets say human weights 130lb...majority is fat and protein. Lets say 20% fat = 26lb of fat = 11793.4 which is 106,137 cals and lets say the rest is protein (including organs) if we take 40lb away for bones that leaves 61lb of protein = 27669.1 which is 110,676 which means therefore total…

Now this is a great back! Real nice definition coming in :)

Damn Joe! Good work!

Damn girl, that's one crazy physique!! Great job, you look amazing. You make a great team. Well done Matt, doing a great job.....your one lucky man ;)

I don't consider that I have, maybe you should reread my posts :) I don't consider them to be conductive to a healthy diet and no I don't consider it to be safe but not have I "spouted off" about their dangers. I have a right to my opinion on what's good information just as you do too. At least I have respect for that, all…

Thank you, as I respect your choice to consume them. :)

It's not learning something new if the very people who did the study claimed that further investigation needs to be done. I am plenty educated in the matter thank you and do not argue a point "to be right" maybe you should be more open to learning something new? At least ACG argues his point with some respect for other…

Agreed, I think this says it all really. From an employers point of view this is risk management. Unfortunate truth. She could have easily lost that weight within that 12 years also.
-
Well said. Your doing awesome! Do what you love and you get results doing it.

Quote from original reference from OP " The groups also say they would help with programs that aim to improve nutrition in school meals and argue that the proposed amendments would promote "honesty and fair dealing in the marketplace," the FDA wrote. As long as they are promoting their own products as healthy! Of course…
