I'm the same, I just move on from it. These days do happen and the best thing to do is just stay positive and keep going.

I live in Australia with my fiance in a small apartment and I'm a uni student. My fiance is an engineer but he just enrolled in part time study after work to do his masters so i suspect things are going to change soon. It takes me two buses each way to get to uni and sometimes i spend long hours in the workshop or the CAD…

I agree too. I hate the BMI- i have lots of muscle and have an obese BMI of 33 at 212 pounds and 5'8. Yes I'm overweight and need to lose weight for health reasons such as my blood pressure and because I'd like to be slimmer but I don't consider myself to be obese.

I get discouraged easily all the time, so i try to make exercise fun- I bought a hula hoop, a skipping rope and i hit the pool at least twice a week. I don't even do a particular stroke i just get myself from one end to the other, somehow. Sometimes I just throw some music on a dance around to it.

BTW words like "extremely fat" and "chunky" only make people feel worse about themselves.

These are US sizes right? Then I at 173cm (5'8) and an AU size 16 would be a 12. But there are so many discrepancies is sizing between brands it's often difficult to say what we really are. Here in Australia as a 16 (in jeans) i'm considered fat and disgusting and downright revolting despite my height and frame- I have to…

Hi :) I'm a full time university student who is unemployed. I had a job in an electrical store sitting behind a desk processing reciepts and dealing with every single customer that walked through the door. I hated it. I was confined to what they called "the box" which was really a box- it even had doors. It was near…

I sick of being unhealthy and feeling self concious- i get bullied a lot and it hurts. I want to look better in clothes and not be out of breath walking up the three flights of stairs in the design building at uni. I'm a design student and have an appreciation for designer clothes but they do not come anywhere near my size…

I bought a skipping rope for $4 at the supermarket and pushed all the furniture back in my tiny apartment so I could skip inside :) It burns heaps and you sweat so much, i used to take boxing lessons and skipping for ten minutes straight was the warm up and it really burned a lot of fat off me and that was when I was thin!…

No such thing as a stupid question :) No i think it goes up because your energy needs increase. I noticed mine go up each time i lose a bit.

Wow, that's all great info! :) I didn't know about the blue plates! As a design student, I did know that orange, and yellow are associated with food but other than using it for designing kitchenware and cookbook covers, I never drew the connection to overeating! :) Thanks! :)

wow! that's an incredible transformation! :)
