  • Smartphone app nukes your "lazy" excuse. I've found it pretty easy - if you're actually weighing your food and taking it seriously then the inputting into MFP is a breeze. In the end, if you don't do it, you'll likely see poor results. So do it.

  • I think this is a mathsing issue because of the way the ratios relate to the grams. The MFP ratios are how you get your calories, so 40% cals from carbs, 40% protein, 20% fat. However, it calculates carbs and protein as 4cal per g, fat as 9 cal per g (otherwise you'd expect the grams to be more along the lines of…
