  • That is my first goal too! 7 more lbs to go!!!
  • Great job on the pushups! I also do the mod version and they hurt me too. I follow the modified on most of the exercises so you're not alone. We are doing it and that is what counts!
  • I would totally buy it if it's in good condition!
  • I'm about to get my day 3 shred on! shouldn't be as rough today since I didn't go to the gym this morning. Don't know about anyone else but I keep picturing the inches falling off.
  • A real life friend referred me and I have done the same with other friends. I kinda like having people I know to both support me on here and in person. I've also added friends who live near me. You never know when you'll need the extra support.
  • LMAO! Not laughing at you but with you! With all that jumping around mine will hit the floor too if I don't tie them as tight as possible. It's a good problem to have I guess but oh so annoying!
  • I did use my HRM. It's set for my weight and age, which is 208.4 and 28yrs. I checked my HR after every circuit and burned 343 cals. Hope this helps!
  • I have both the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout. Both are great dvd's
  • Just curious, is anyone else using a HRM while doing this workout? I would like to compare my cal burn if so.
  • Thanks for the motivation girl! I've been to the gym this morning and my cal burn is a little over 700 already. Looking forward to starting Day 1 after dinner! I've got 5lb weights and those squat presses KILL! I've also had no weight loss in the last 2 weeks and hope this helps get me out of my rut. Good luck ladies!!!
  • I am in if you still have room!
  • I have the Biggest Loser Challenge and Wii Fit Plus. I use my heart rate monitor when I play to get an accurate cal burn.

  • I was having trouble matching up low sodium ham to what is in the database so the last time I bought some I just asked the deli lady to show me the nutritional info. It turned out that she is a calorie counter too so she had no problem helping me out.
  • Thanks for this post! I've had Hypo since the age of 12, now 28. I've seen some movement on the scales but am also wondering if a med change would make a difference. I go back to the doc in June so I'll ask then. Thanks again!
  • I've had Hypothyroidism since I was 12. My heaviest was 245 (after the birth of my daughter in '05). I just recently started getting serious about my weight loss and have lost 15lbs since Jan (down to 211!!!). It is possible, just takes a little longer and a lot of hard work. I got a HRM and don't evercise without it. I…
  • I've had Hypothyroidism since age 12. I take Synthroid for mine. Weightloss has been slower for me but I feel tons better now that I'm eating right along with exercising. Add me if you would like!
  • I was at the gym the other day and saw this guy on the treadmill totally getting into his music. I mean all out air guitar and fist pumps. I never got the chance to ask him what he was listening to. Here is my playlist: Linkin Park- serveral songs Paper Tongues- Ride to California and Get Higher (New Fave band) Break…
  • Thanks for posting this. My friend is loaning me her P90X today. I can't wait to start. I'm steadily losing lbs but I WANT to see the inches come off as well!
  • I've been having the same problem. Only mine bounces between 2-8lbs lower than my home scale. As much as I would like to believe the gym scale, I'm sticking with the one at home. I weigh myself on it every morning and I'm the only one using it. Versus 3 dozen other women.
  • Hi Cindy! Would love to add you as a friend and also on my mom's profile. She is also 43, 4 kids from the ages 28 (me) down to 7. She had a heart attack in Aug 2010 and has made huge strides in her improved health. We are on this weight loss journey together. My moms name is aminton1966 look her up.
  • I've done the Last Chance Workout DVD and burned about 500 cals in 30 mins. My HRM is set up with my personal specs so the cals I burned might not be what someone else would burn. If you're in the market for a HRM, I have a Sportline watch purchased from Wal-Mart for under $30. I love it and will not workout without it.
  • Thanks! I'll have to try it out. My workouts usually include a mile on the track (mostly walking but I throw in a couple laps of running) then the Elliptical and weights. I'm burning anywhere from 700-1200 cals a workout.

  • Your skin changes with age, different hormones and even sweating can effect your skin. Try to change up your skin care products. When I was pregnant with my son I had to stop using my beloved MK skin care and switch to something aimed for breakouts. I am back using MK but have had to switch formulas.
  • I don't workout without mine! I agree with the previous response, you get a more accurate calorie burn, can see your progress and feel bad *kitten* afterwards! Mine is a Sportsline watch purchased at Wal-Mart for under $30.
  • Saw this post last week but thought it was too late to join. I'm in if there is room for me! SW- 225 Jan 1, 2011 CW- 221.8 Jan 11, 2011 GW- out of the 200's by April I go to the YMCA at least 4x a week.
