Eh, having read this book I think if you don't have access to a gym (or aren't willing to put a couple grand into a home gym), this routine is not the best one for you. Don't get me wrong, there are tons of good workouts you can do on your own- but you'd have to make so many modification to this routine that it's not even…

What the heck are you planning to do to burn 1500 calories a day?
-
In all honesty, from your diary it looks like you eat a lot of deli meat for lunches and snacks. It'll take a bit more time, but try cooking chicken the night before and putting it in the fridge for your sandwiches. Also check the sodium levels on your bagels (? I don't completely recognize the brand you're using) - it may…

....No. Anything geared towards 'getting a dancers body' (Other than lucky genetics and 20+ years of ballet training) is actually just geared at getting your money.
-
It's not pedantic, he's pointing out that there is no 'opposite of chunky muscles'. There are people with more muscle mass and people with less muscle mass, and people with higher body fat and lower body fat. There is no way to 'change' the appearance of the muscle. If you don't want muscle mass, don't train for strength.

Can you give specifics on what kind of tricks they show? And does she offer any modifications/ideas on how to work towards the harder moves?

The other thing to mention is that (female) dancers don't train their arms all that much relative to their core or legs. So you're posting pictures of these women with very strong chests and arms and comparing them to ballerinas- they're two completely different things. If you want an better comparison of strength training…

If you're using TDEE - 20%, the TOTAL calories you are eating is 1712. If you're using the MFP method, you eat a NET of 1200 calories (or whatever number you have chosen). You don't do both of them at once.

But... why not just work out barefoot? Or in socks?

The lululemon ones are crazy thick, I've used mine as a crash mat when practicing pole before. They're a bit pricey, though.

@ Abdul: She's decent? Really? Look at the thread title. @ TNcrafter: you've got a great smile.

I pay ~50$ a month for my gym - tons of free weights, machines, two squat racks, gymnastics rings, about 25 treadmills + a bunch of other cardio equipment, fitness and spinning classes, and a dry sauna. I wish I could get away with paying less, but unfortunately that's about average for what's in my area...

Anyone can add me as well! :D

$60 sounds normal to me, I did a few sessions with a PT and it was about 70-75$ a session. I'll be the voice of dissent and say I didn't find it worth it. If you've never stepped into a gym before or have serious problems with motivation, then yeah, for sure use one. But all I found he did was set up a routine for me…

5'8 and 162 lbs. The jeans I have on now are a 29" waist, but in terms of sizes it can be anything between size 6 to size 12. Oh, the joys of women's clothing....

What is your problem with planks/where are you lacking the strength? And why are you using a rope to help you with sit ups? For workouts: V snaps Banana rocks/ holds (do these on your back, stomach, and each side) Bicycle kicks Lie on your back with your feet in the air, press your lower back into the ground (there should…

Feel free to add me as well! I am less enthusiastic about skinny jeans, but would love to look better in clothes as well!

Hey! Have you ever tried doing a gymnastics class? Most gyms have adult classes, I take one and it's a ton of fun. Plus you'd get to learn your handstand! I sent a friend request your way too. :)

Out of curiosity, what exactly do you think is disordered about that blog? Can you provide examples?
