Last official stop before the holidays: LWW 110.4 CWW 109.4. If possible I will check in this friday just before we leave for 2 weeks to Croatia. I'll try to do some damage control but can't promise anything ;-) See you soon, I'll hook up again later as this is thread is one of the motivators for me. Hang on!

Tim, that is bad news. Is cycling not an alternative or perhaps swimming? I know it doesn't compare to an intensive racketsport and it is half the fun when you can't beat or get beaten by an opponent, that's why I like badminton that much. Hope you will recover soon from your injuries. Keep it up!

Seems that my post was the first one that started the new thread. So a small past action to get it in this one: continued from this topic > < part one of this topic is here > QUOTE: 217.4lbs! Wow, fantastic job! Unfortunately I have to report bad news. It is a bit more than expected because of a great night out yesterday…

Thanks for sharing Adrian, recognise most of it. It's getting harder and harder to reach the daily net goal, but that is because of my own commitment. Sport season is coming to an end, holidays and parties are coming up, pfff And the fact that I already lost more than I thought makes it harder to have the same dedication…

Starting to see a pattern, good start of the week and then all kind of hurdles during the end of the week. Not a healthy week for me, won't share it with you. Good thing however, at the end I'm still as heavy as last week, pfffff................ Cheers to you all and good luck

Small drop: CWW 109,0 LWW 109,2. First part of the week went extremely well, but then a few BBQ's kicked in. So gained most of it back in the weekend. Same issues apollaog already adressed, it's starting to get known in the weightloss literature as the 'Apollaog effect', a common problem for men on a weight loss mission…

No progress this week, LWW 109.2 CWW 109.2. During the week I'd build up a small loss, but a good night out on saturday and it went even again. Next week I will report a loss again however. Success to you all.

And if all over the world includes the Netherlands, here's another one to add. Succes!

Tightened things up this week, saw that I was number last in the previous week. The only one in the red, grrrr as red as in our famous light district  . So, this chart thing is really helping me. Here are the results from overseas: LWW 110.2 CWW 109.2. This afternoon a great BBQ with friends at our place, but I have a…

mmm, things aren't going as smooth as I was used to. Missing a couple of exercises and eating out a couple of times and this is what you get: LWW 109,8 CWW 110,2. Welcome StevLL, just do as Tim and succes will come your way too ;-) @Pancho: incredible, well done!
-
Thanks, and I see Tim and you are making serious plans for this number 1 position, starts to feel like the Ryder Cup competition, except that team Europe is heavily under understaffed with only me or am I missing some fellow EU companions. Will start preparing myself against these US superiour numbers. Good luck this week…

Checking in on Mothersday, just before the breakfast my son and I prepared: LWW 111,2 CWW 109,8. Breaking news: According to several 3 lines of code software programs on the web (BMI calculator), I am no longer obese, YEAH!! Can't remember when that was the last time. Downside is that they show also your ideal healthy…

Agree with Tim. This thread is a recurring reminder for me to keep going. And with the competitive attitude of me, it works great for me. Besides over time I'm more and more interested in how you guys are doing and see your progress, little setbacks and NSV. It's becoming a routine in my sunday morning activities to enter…

Too bad, I just beat you last week with this first time gain ;-) Don't worry, get up that Elliptical Trainer again and do some repair work this week. Still on for that challenge are you, know you can do it! Don't let me pass you
-
It´s more how consequent you report your weight. I weigh myself in the morning when I get out of bed. This time you excercised, but what if you had a great breakfast or a brunch, would you report your weight just after you ate? Also if you report your first weight and manage this week to lose another few pounds, you will…

Despite a short city trip, I managed to win back a little of the gain in weight last week. LWW 111.6 CWW 111.2. It ain't much but considering the numerous shots espresso, pizza and ice, I'm fine with it. Hope you fellow red liners all did some damage repair. After looking at the pictures taken, I was glad that I had…

Here's some field experience when dropping weight: don't hit the town of Amsterdam on a warm nice evening, don't sit at terrace with large white beers with a slice of lemon. Don't visit a good Brazilian BBQ restaurant for a churrasco, and stay a way from the Caipirinhas. And afterwards don't visit all kind of typical A'dam…

Started out realy slow this week, even gained a little. So thanks to Tim, Mackoy and Hanna (not on this thread) for your positive and fair critics and cheers. Last few day it went like the weeks before. I can reccomend working long days in your garden. It will improve the way it looks, although the garden looks better ;-)…

It's not going as spectacular as some other guys, but it is still working for me. Getting more and more used to this and even managed to sneak in a Corona and a Caipharina this week. So CW = 111.8 (LW 112.8), exactly 1 kilo. Not bad, with 3 consecutive days of Champions League football and a night out. Now I'm off with my…

You can be proud already. Compliments to your dedication. With this determination, I'm sure you'll reach your end goal. Congrats!
-
Sounds familiar, started second of January but so far it's going ok, still hanging in here and its working for me. If you need some support you can add me as a friend. Good luck on your journey
-
Take the people who were your inspiration to start this endeavour out for a nice day to the zoo or something like that. All the girls probably will like that. And I would reccomend a ice-cold beer for the man in question as a reward for this dedication. May I suggest a Grolsch beer (brewed not far a way from my town)
-
Hi Ashley, welcome on board (again). I'm here since the new year and for me it's working. Was triggered by your nickname, you drive one? If you wish, you can add me as a friend for some support.
-
Wow, impressive. There must be more than not having a party for such a nice loss, what did you do to have this succes? And if you don't have a birthday present yet, I would suggest you wrap your new body in gift paper and let your wife unpack ;-)
-
Well, looks that this weeks winner is already known, my compliments to mr. Swilson and his early rises. All the dedication paid off! This week results on the other side of the ocean are satisfying, although not as spectacular as that of the man with the nice tie: CW 112.8 and LWW 114.3. Let's see if this makes up any…

Attention on Deck, Winkey + L next time before you hit the pool. ;-) Welcome a board anyway, wish you a good mission. @apolloag: you're getting busier and busier with the succesfull topic.
-
Let's see how you've implemented your backup solutions... good luck!
-
Decent week over here, not very spectacular but I'm happy sofar. Today's weight 114,3 (LW 115.1). That will put me in the yellow zone again I guess, with this competition it will be hard to become greenish again. Well done to you jaskelley, you've put a lot of effort in it this week I saw. Good luck to the others
-
Congrats, and keep it up,dedication works. Nice nickname by the way ;-)

As to apolloag's question So far I managed to stay out of the gym, in the past I've had a subscription but after a while I used it less and less. I'm more a racketsport guy, badminton and squash, so that is all inside. It's more fun when there is direct competition, winning or losing. Tried spinning once, but that's not my…
