Yup, we've had that conversation. In fact we had that conversation the first evening. I reminded him on the fourth day and then gave up. This is after reminding him every Friday night for the last month. Don't get me wrong he is a great dad and a very caring husband but household maintenance isn't his strong suit.

My husband just went back to work after 9 days off. The lawn still hasn't been mowed. I am now going to do it over the next few days (I have a 1 year old at home who sleeps unpredictably and will quite often wake after 20 minutes and needs help getting back to sleep... can't hear him over the mower) 15 minutes at a time…

Nope, completely invisible. Always have been even before kids when I was a total gym bunny. I would watch people hook up in the gym, make friends, chat etc and just feel invisible. Then after I had my first child it just got worse because I just stopped participating. Even now I stand on the edges of the group, whether…

Definitely the exception, I just wanted to send you a hug that must be hard.

How can the marriage work if the moving parts aren't together? That's like taking a clock apart and expecting it to keep time!

I like bacon but don't eat it regularly since I heard a radio ad that made the point that pigs are smarter than a 2 year old, and I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old and it just doesn't seem right somehow to eat something smarter than they are (just try playing hide the iPhone from the baby a few times and you will see…

Another option is to actually break everything up into servings as soon as it comes into the house. Meat gets rebagged into smaller portions and put in he freezer, ice cream gets shifted into single serving containers and put away, chocolate (my kryptonite) gets broken into single rows and put into the fridge (I HATE cold…

Cairns, where the plants are gorgeous, the middle of winter feels like summer and the houses are all airconditioned!

This! Especially in the early days you will easily burn up to 500 cal per day producing milk. http://kellymom.com/nutrition/mothers-diet/mom-calories-fluids/ This site has some great info.
-
I did this, and set the expenditure for 200 cal for the day and pop it on once a day, I got 200 cal by looking up the normal ranges and going about halfway between the highest and lowest. That said though I'm seriously considering reducing the amount because we are down to 3 feeds a day (early morning, nap time, nighttime)…

What she said. I married at 23, to my now ex husband who is the ex because he wasn't anywhere near ready to be married. Which is the whole point, if you are both ready then you will be fine. If one of you isn't ready but is going along to make the other happy then there will be trouble. The other thing to do is to make a…

Like everyone else LOVE the pics. You also have such a cheeky grin, adorable.

One thing about exercise is if you haven't been doing it BEFORE you were pregnant don't start while you are pregnant, it just isn't the time to start putting extra stress and strain on your body.
-
Can you move the treadmill? Mine is out in the lounge so that I can be around people when I exercise. Other than that I would try the other suggestions. Especially just getting outside. I LOVE running outside as opposed to on he treadmill, so much more interesting.
-
What sort of exercise are you doing and what sort of things do you enjoy?

But you are loosely following her plan, just using different tools. Sorry she's being a cow. Hopefully you can look around and find someone a little less rigid.

Feel free to add me, I am looking for support as well so maybe we can prop up each other! I am trying to reform the habit of logging everything in order to break a plateau.
-
Welcome! I have lost quite a bit since joining here which has been great. I'm now working to break at plateau that I've been on for almost a year.
-
Right there with you. Although I started at about 183. I have been plateaued for about a year now and have just restarted with trying to get rid of the last 40 or so pounds.
-
That's a fantastic improvement! You should be really proud!

I keep starting to run, then get off track, kids, house stuff, life. I currently have a 7 year old, 2 year old and a 10 month old and so am getting a running pram from one of my friends so that I can walk our oldest to school and then run home with the babies, which will be a start. I would love to join in if that's ok?
