My husband and I are on here together and we are major supporters of each other. With out each other we would not be where we are today. Heres a big thank you to my husband for the support he give me each day.

Just remember alot of days are better than others. If you fall off the wagon, pick yourself up and get back on it. We both knew that our lifes were destined for better things, than a life of medical issues. I can not say that we do not still have medical issues that we have to live with, but we changed the chapters of our…

Sadly that is not the case.

I got a new license last fall because I got married, and I am still 45lbs lower than the weight on the DL. I guess when I get to Goal I might need to get a new one again. I just hate paying the cost for a new license.

Pick me, Pick me. You know you are my rock and I could not have done what I have over these past 2 years with out your support and encouragement. We have traveled many a roads together, but this one has been one of the best ones. The best one was the day that I had the honor to take your last name(Ruxpin) Ha Ha. I did not…

You will do great. I ran my first 5k(unofficial) this morning. I ran 3.25 miles with .5 miles warm up and cool down walk in 43 min. I was proud of myself, and you should be proud of your accompolishments. I plan to run an official 5k next year as one of my goals. Keep up the great work and know that if you put your mind to…

Your father will always be rooting for you. I know my father is up in heaven with yours rooting us both on. My father unfortunatly did not get to see me start this journey, but I know he is proud of me no matter if I succeed or fail. Beleive in yourself that you can continue this journey. Take each day 1 day at a time.

I love it. Keep up the great work. You will look outstanding at your daughters wedding.

We are experiencing the same thing with our new Polar HRM's. The one good thing is that we did not eat our exercise calories back in most cases, and we were still losing the lbs. WE try not to stress about it. The one thing additional I noticed was that before on my bike I would have days where my heart rate would go crazy…

I was in your same situation last year. I did not start MFP until this year, but last year my husband and I were in the process of changing our lives forever. We consider this a life long journey and took it slow. In Jan 2010 we started with cutting some of our food down to smaller quantities and bringing exercise into our…

My husband I purge our closet rather frequently. I lost weight a several years ago and made the huge mistake of keeping the bigger stuff. I gained all of the weight back and more. This time I have donated or given to family my clothes that are at least 2 sizes 2 big. Sometimes that means I wear a pair of pants 1 time…

You look great. I think I need to do the same for myself. I have only the last 15lbs to make my goal and I can not seam to get out of the 160's. The last few weeks have been a roller coaster and I am not sure where I am going wrong. I stay in my Calories and still exercise, but I am still going up and down. This week I…

I am 5'7 and have a goal of 150, but I am struggling with the 160's currently. I have been told that I should not lose anymore by friends and family members, but I would like to see what I look like at my goal weight. I can say you can do anything if you put your mind too it. I started out at 291 and am now 163. I have…

Rachel, You are awsome and many people here on MFP look to for inspiration. To lose 139 lbs in 9 months if fantastic. I can relate to parts of your story, but I can als say that with out my husbands help over the last 2 years I could not be where I am today. I am so close to my goal and look forward to the day that I…

My husband and I both have lost 337 together. We are still going toward our goals. I have before and after pictures in my profile of the 2 of us.

My husband and I have been doing this journey together since Jan 2010. We have lost 337 lbs to date. Keep up the good work. You are an inspiration to everyone who meets you, and will continue to inspire others as you go down your path to better health. I do not know how to post pics here, but in my profile are pictures of…

Im not a runner, but I notice my veins on my hands pop when I work out and get really hot. My husband has also noticed the veins in my legs pop out when we walk. It is kind of freaky, but normal.

Thanks everyone. I may have to go see the Dr. about this issue. I always considered my self Fat and Happy, but now that I am " not so fat" I seem to not be happy either. I figured losing the weight and having more self confididence would open up so many more doors for my career and success, but that has not happened and…

I'm Pooch74's wife and we support each other. I was looking at my spreadsheet we kept during our journey last year before we came to know MFP. It is interesting to see where you started, and how far you have come. I can say I started at 291 in Jan 2010, On July 12, 2010 I was at 236 and today my logged weight is 174. I…

Great job. You look like a completely different person.

I don't know what the right answer is, but for me I do not lose weight if I exercise before I eat a little something for breakfast. I was trying to do a small work out 3 days a week before heading to work , but I felt I was not getting the benifit. My feeling is do what you think works best for you and keep moving.
