  • That is too funny! I thought about presenting all the health risks of being overweight to my nine year old, but I think she might go overboard with it. She worries about everything. I don't want to add to her list.
  • Day 3 is a success. I completed cardio 1 TWICE! The back of my legs are really sore today. I think maybe the running man? I don't fee like I have enough room to do the suicides properly. I am going diagonally and I have about eight feet from one corner until I crash into my elliptical.
  • Just did cardio 1. I am going to do the kick start plan, but I am not doing the diet. It is hard to stick to that with a family to feed. Cardio 1 is very comfortable for me now. After a month of this I know I will be ready to move on to phase 2. I know that it has to get a lot harder because I watched the infomercial and…
  • Workout 2 - COMPLETE! I need to get some heavier weights for part of this. I will do cardio 1 later tonight. I am also still using my elliptical for 45 minutes each day.
  • I ALMOST wimped out and went to bed instead of doing cardio 1. I am so glad that I didn't. It was way easier than I thought it would be. After doing level 3 of 30ds, I think phase 1 of BR won't be too tough for me. I can totally do this!
  • That scares me a bit! I guess I will just do what I can. I am not in very good shape!
  • I LOVE Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred!
  • Down 22 pounds and the most exciting news is - I DON'T THINK I HAVE ANOTHER 22 TO LOSE!!!! I am a mama to three and want to stay healthy (not too thin). I think another fifteen pounds and I will be the perfect size for me! Woo-Hoo!!!
  • But how can that apply to evey body size and type? I work with a 23 year old man who is 5'9" and around 180 lb. He told me he is eating 1200 calories to lose weight. I am 5' 1" and MUCH smaller than him. How does it make sense that both of our bodies require the same calories? I don't believe there can be one "magic"…
  • I did the workout with my 9 year old yesterday and she asked why I don't just do all thirty workouts in one day and get it over with. I don't think you'd be cheating at all! I just finished L1 today and will start L2 Monday (I'm doing Monday through Friday) but think I'll continue L1 on the weekends because I have come to…
  • I am a teacher and have been doing it in my classroom after school with another teacher. We are not doing it on the weekends. I thought it might be tough after two days off, but we got right back into it with no problem.
  • Wow! After reading this I am so proud of myself. I have had 5 pound weights the whole time. I must be tougher than I thought!
  • Today I did D5 L1 and I'm scared to death to do level 2! You must be a lot tougher than me! I have been doing it in my classroom after school with another teacher. It's fun to get together and we are proud of ourselves, but we think it is hard! Today was the first day that I did every single jumping jack (still not doing…
  • I just finished D3 and can't believe how much easier it is after only three days! I am doing so much more of it. The first day I puttered out about half way through most excercises. My goal is to be able to do the bicycle crunches by the end. I can't do them AT ALL!
  • I am also a working mom. I'm a teacher with three kids of my own. My husband works a lot so I often feel like a single mom. It's hard to make time for myself but it now is the time. I'd love to be your buddy!
  • What is medifast? Never heard of it.
