I like Quaker Oats Old Fashioned brand. 1/2 c oatmeal and 1 c water in microwave for 2 minutes. Some good whole wheat pastas are high in fiber and protein. Also see brown rice pasta. Proteins are usually in meats and dairy. Fiber in cereals, etc. Fiber One cereal has crazy amounts of fiber!

I like dessert or a snack, too...so I log all my food and see how many calories I have left and then choose accordingly.
