LOVE DISNEY!!! I go multiple times a year, had an annual pass twice, and basically buy everything Disney. My husband and I are doing the Wine and Dine 5K on Oct 1st! Our first 5K! So excited it's in Disney. Anyone else doing this race? Feel free to add as a friend!

I use 3 lb weights and I don't think I'll move up, since that's all I have. I'm doing it on each level until I am comfortable throughout the entire workout, then I'm moving on through the next level. And I can totally skip through all her talking and that nonsense! I push the "next chapter" button on my player's remote,…

If you've been using the treadmill calories and still lost 38 pounds, then I you're still doing great stuff.

Hey everyone! Did Day 3 yesterday...it actually felt a bit easier. Except for jump rope and bicycle crunches...I detest those two exercises! Keep up all the great work!!!
-
I'll be doing day 3, so feel free to add!

My husband and I are finishing week 2 today. So far, it's going pretty good!
-
Hey, I just started! I've only done 2 days so far. Feel free to add me for support! Good luck! It really is challenging, but I love it!

Hey, I'm doing w2d2 tonight. I love it! Anyone feel free to add me for support! :D

I just finished week 1 for the 3rd time. I never could make myself stick to it (though I sprained my knee the 2nd time round...and I was almost to week4!) However, I love the program, and I signed up for a 5K in October to have a goal to work toward. Also, I did week 1 for 5 days instead of 3 to help build up my initial…

Make sure you always bring your own healthy snacks and have plenty of water. I actually have a mini-fridge and microwave in my room so I can keep all of my stuff secure...and if I don't feel like dealing with the other teachers, I can just stay put! Oh, and during my off period, I would walk around the school, back and…

I started and quit a few times, but now I'm on it again with my husband, and we are here to finish this time! We're doing week 1 for 5 days instead of 3 to really help kick-start our endurance. I found the other times, I was so exhausted doing week 2, I really couldn't breathe, and I just gave up. Now we've done 4 days out…

Don't know about 300, might just shoot for 200. But I'll be in! :)

Yep, I'm from right outside NOLA. Very, very hard not to go into the city and indulge every day! Just yesterday we went to a fried seafood place and it killed me to only eat a very small bowl of corn and crab soup with no crackers or bread. But I did it!

A true plateau isn't until about week 3. It didn't take you a week to gain all that weight, so it's not going to take a week to lose it. Keep your chin up, mix up your workouts, eat right, and you'll be fine! Look at inches you're losing too, not just the scale. The scale is the worst thing to actually go by, unless you…

Just call it L1D3. Who says you have to advance in 10 days? If I don't feel confident enough to move on after the 10th day, I'm staying at L1. If it takes me longer than 30 days, so be it! At least I'm working out. Good luck!
-
I have done through L1D4 and let me tell you, I do understand your pain!! It's so hard and I'm dying. It hurts to walk, my knee is killing me, it hurts to laugh...HOWEVER, it is worth it!! I know that this is something I need, so I am keeping with it. In a week, this will be a breeze, I'm confident! Don't give up, think…

I just started it too! I did my first day yesterday, and it was TORTURE. BUT, I know the results will come, so I am sticking through it! Add me if you want support!

I have several guy friends, one is going to be a groomsmen in my wedding, and my fiance doesn't care. Another guy friend of mine has a girl as his bff, and her and his girlfriend have also become really good friends. It's just about trust and knowing that the only person you want to come home to at night is the person…

Awesome!! This will definitely help me! Thank you!

My birthday was on the 1st of this month. I definitely ate bad. The next day, I saw a rise in my weight by 2 pounds. I didn't freak out, I expected it, and just worked hard that day on eating well and exercising. The next day...boom. Gone. Like it never happened. As long as it's a rare treat, it will not hurt you. Just…

Good sugar! Fruit sugar is something known as FRUCTOSE Fructose is broken down by the body slowly and is converted into SUCROSE and GLYCOGEN. Fructose is often recommended for, and consumed by, people with diabetes mellitus or hypoglycemia, because it has a very low Glycemic Index (GI 23) relative to cane sugar." Sucrose…

Your body will not think it's starving itself. That is a silly myth. Think of the Biggest Loser, do you think those people eat back all their exercise calories? No. Don't eat so much the days you play raquetball. And don't eat prepackaged food high in sodium. Try to eat natural foods. I've been making things from scratch,…

It really irks my nerves when I see people not wanting to eat more vegetables because of calories. Seriously, people?! Those things are actually BENEFICIAL! Eat them! You'll live much longer and ultimately be happier!
-
I wouldn't worry about the sugars from fruits and veggies...those are natural sugars, and have way more health benefits! It's all the processed sugars that suck...stay away from processed food and sweets.

I'm a bride to be also! Trying to lose at least 22 more pounds before my wedding in May, if not a little more. So far, I'm doing well. You can do it too! Just have to remember to stick with it and count those calories, because the end result is so much more important than any food you might be craving! Have a cheat or day…

Thank you, SkinnyScripty, for that article. I wish every person who posted on the forums and talked about so-called "starvation mode" would read this!

Mmm, that sounds amazing! I'm definitely trying this!
