  • Good for you. It sounds as if you are on the right track. Keep up the good work!
  • Remember that muscles weighs more. Right now you are doing an amazing job! Do not get discouraged. Once your muscle tone slows down you will drop weight. Keep up the good work and continue to do what you are doing.
  • I usually try to eat some of them back, but not all of them.
  • I think probably a good portion of us have yo-yoed and you are seeking help in the right place. If you stick with the MFP program and stick with the number's you should be successful. Remember that once in a while you may have an off day. You are welcome to add me as a friend.
  • Losing weight too quickly will only be a temporary fix. It will be a worse let down in the long run because you will gain it back and each time this happens the bigger the disappointment and becoming very discouraged. You need to trust MFP. Be very honest and put in your number's. It is about life style changes and eating…
  • My husband and I bought a magic bullet for us and both kids. Out of three of us only one of us liked it. We like it for minor things, but heavy duty we prefer the blender. We really didn't care for it for ice cubes.
  • All of you can add me as a friend. I am shooting for a 50 pound loss. This is my second time trying to reach this goal and am excited about doing this. MFP is such a wonderful program that with everyone's support. I think we can all get where we want to be.
  • My daughter just ordered some. I will let you know how it goes for her. I saw this on Dr Oz also and I do find it hard to believe he would put his name with something that doesn't work.
  • I think it works. Keep it up it will pay off.
  • Snacks: nuts, pretzels, yogurt, skinny cow ice cream, yogurt, fruit, cereal Today I am grilling extra chicken and will dice the left over and have it in the fridge to use for chicken salads. I like stewing a couple of apples with cinnamon and vanilla, the storing in the fridge. I add this to my oat meal with a few pecans.…
  • I'm not thinking thin like I used to. Now I am doing it to feel good and to be healthy. I know I won't ever be 'thin', but I will get my weight down where I feel good
  • I strongly feel that you have come to the right place. I love MFP. It is simple and easy. All you have to do is be honest on your number's, food and be moble. Even if it is something simple. Have you had your thyroid checked? If it is fine I would say join us and enjoy the ride. You are more then welcome to friend me. Most…

  • It looks as though you are getting your sugar from healthy foods. I wouldn't give up the fruit or worry about it unless you are diabetic.
  • I think any weight loss from a fad diet is only temp. I've done a few in my life time and they do work for a bit, but then the weight comes back on. The best thing to do is the program set up by mfp. This isn't diet, but a healthy life style change.
  • I have been weighing myself every 3 days. This gives me the opportunity to take a pound off, but I only record it once a week. Good luck reaching your goals.
  • I cook 90% all natural. My hobby is food nutrition and what foods can do for your health, including foods that heal. That being said, my husband and I go out once in a while and indulge in fast food...love it, but am careful with it. Not saying this is a good thing, but we do enjoy it.

  • This is most likely water retention. Women are lucky that way.
  • You seriously need to increase your calorie intake or you will feel like crap and not be healthy. As for meals with 500 calories there are sooo many. Go to a cooking lite website. They will probably do the nutrition breakdown for you and you will know exactly what you are getting. Remember your body is a machine and it…
  • I allow so many calories per meal. Breakfast is my least favorite meal so I only allow around 300 calories. I make sure I have more calories left for dinner since this is our biggest meal and I always make sure I work out enough to enjoy a good snack or two. You can still enjoy all the foods you like. You just need to…
  • I think it is important to be on MFP every single day....more then once a day if at all possible. Log it all, even the oils or butter or condiments you use It all adds up quickly and the calories appear in places that would shock you. On my diary at times I will put a foot note to help me in the future. Usually what works…
  • If you don't get 1,200 mg of calcium in your diet I would take a Caltrate-D. If you stick to the MFP plan you will lose weight and should get all the nutrition that you need.
  • Water has so many health benefits. Staying hydrated isn't only good for you physically. It makes your skin look younger as well. I didn't use to like water so I took oranges, lemons and limes. Washed them, then sliced them and froze them on a sheet tray. After they were frozen I tossed them all in a freezer bag. Then I…
  • You are welcomed to add me as a friend. I love cooking and I know how to cook low fat and all natural. Cooking was my hobby, but I fell into what you have fallen into. It just got easier to pick up fast food then go home after work and cook. I was only cooking at home twice a week on my days off. It has now been 1 1/2…
  • Fish has allot of protien in it. I even have tuna fish for breakfast once a while. Since you like broccoli that may be a good option. It isn't loaded with calories, but it does have allot of protien. If you like cottage cheese, tbsp of peanut butter, 2 oz. piece of cheese, egg all very good sources of protien. You can also…
  • I think you will be surprised at how many calories you burn when cleaning. Especially when you are doing a deep cleaning.
  • You brought up some wonderful points and the holiday's are hard. We just need to keep encouraging one another. This weight gain didn't happen over night and it will take time to get it off, but we can do this
  • Wow, you have lost 14 pounds that is awesome and that is 14 pounds more then I have lost. Holiday's are always that way, that is why I don't freak out over them. Just plan on eating. Hit the diet hard before and afterwards. You will do great. I am new to this and if you want that extra support you are more then welcomed to…
  • I think it is his issue and it might not matter if you were under weight, but you are more then welcomed to put me on your friends list. I am new to this and have allot to shed. We can be supportive of one another. I do have to say though. You need to lose the weight for yourself, not for him.
