I could take a guess that the exercise is pushing your food through your tract before it has had time to digest, thus the problem. Not eating food for several hours prior to working out and/or more fiber may work????

Netflix releases House of Cards Season 2 on Valentine's Day. Awesome show.

When I go for walks I've tracked the same walk with 3 fitness apps and they report 10% difference in distance and 20% difference in calories burned. I've taken to using the lowest numbers to be safe. On the MFP side, I try to only eat back 60%-70% of my calorie burn from exercise to ensure I haven't overestimated. So on…

Could also be the battery in the transmitter. I think the strap is supposed to be hand washed, not in a washing machine.

That's why I tell people we don't speak English, we speak American - often poorly.

I think the HRM does a lot to help - you can verify you are working out at the right power, track calories burned, use for HIIT, and log your activity long term. I'd really look into a smart Bluetooth HRM and then use apps on your phone - not only is the solution often cheaper, it provides more options since there are so…

I think they each have their place! As long as yoga pants are not an excuse to skip showering and have bed hair every day, I think you are good.

For me, working out is easy to do but keeping my diet in check has been hard. Long term strength training will build muscle that will burn calories for you 24x7x365 so that can help a lot. Regular cardio will add some muscle. Many people seem to say that diet is by far the biggest contributor to weight loss and from my…

I've read about people removing 10-20-30 pounds of excess skin.

Neither matter to me - but I'd prefer real boobs if I was asked to vote. The sexiest thing is a woman who is comfortable and feels sexy in her own skin. She glows!

Start with that and see how things go - if you are still feeling well and have enough energy, you can always cut a couple hundred calories per day each week and see how it goes. If you decrease your calorie intake 500/day, you'd lose another pound per week - but I wouldn't go any lower than that till you try it for a few…

Muscle, plus possibly additional water weight due to an increase of exercise. Inches are so much more important.

By the way - for anyone who wants to try it out, I've started a game with only a $10 bet. I'm happy to help you out in learning the process if you want to try! Game starts on Feb 10th: http://diet.bt/LBW8m1 If you have any other questions about it, let me know. I think the system is awesome and hope it can help others…

For those wondering how much money you make, between the two 4% games I've completed so far the profit was around 30% on each. DietBet says that bigger bets ($35 or more) have a higher success rate so your profit would be lower in that case. Regardless, you'll always at least get your money back, but profit is nice!

I forgot to mention that the store I went to offered the free exchange option for me too. It's really nice to know when spending so much on the shoes that they'd give me assurance they worked well for me. As I continue to improve in my training and lose more weight, my shoe size or even shoe type may change and I'll be…

For $250,000 I'd go a little overboard too - she didn't know how much she needed to lose to win and I think she won by only 5% which was 13 pounds. If she gains that back in muscle she'll look great. Going forward hopefully the show will put limits in - DietBet does for their contests. The show could always come up with a…

These forums can be a little brutal - I'm glad that some gave you good and thoughtful advice and that you heard it. Hopefully you won't get turned off by the haters and will keep coming for advice. There's a lot of good info here if you just scan and read. I try to look for a few minutes every day and find good tidbits all…

Amazon.com! Lots of stuff on there and good prices. They don't have everything, but they have a lot!

I wanted to update this with the info from my completed DietBets. On a $25 and $30 game, I made a total of $18.11, which is 33% return in one month :) DietBet allows you to play up to 3 games simultaneously so I'm in again for this month but now with more money.

I think you have an opportunity here. Since you have concerns about intimacy right now, you can be very choosy on the guys you go out on a date with. Since you're looking for a quality guy who is going to see you for you and you don't want to get naked quickly, why not take your time to find a great guy? I couldn't have…

I'm 32 and looking to lose double that. I'm down 25 so far and am on MFP every day. Please feel free to add me!

The elliptical can be an awesome workout! Definitely all about what you put into it. I find it is easier for me to keep up a high intensity session on the elliptical versus a treadmill or bike. For me it is all about getting into the zone with the right music. The elliptical is also pretty easy to use for HIIT since you…

Found a ton of them for sale on Craigslist when I just looked - multiples in the $50 - $75 range - you could consider buying from there!

You can do a printable diary. Change the CHANGEME to your username and you can load the page. Found it as an option in one of the diary page screens. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/reports/printable_diary/CHANGEME?from=2014-02-01&to=2014-02-01

I think you should have at least one day of non-strenuous exercise but adding strength training on days you are not running is good. As for cheap weights - think about more ways you can use your own body weight - squats and lunges can really kick your *kitten*. Good old pushups and pullups too. A set of resistance bands…

Just finished 2 of the 4 week games (did them together) but won't know my winnings for a couple days. It did motivate me to make sure I dropped the 4% for the month, which is certainly awesome since I'll get my money back plus a share of the money those who lost paid.

You can upload them. From the contest page, near the top-middle is a weigh in button and when you click it you'll get instructions on how to upload the photo and the keyword you need in the photo to prove it was a current shot.

I'm a data junkie and am proud of it. The more I track, the more accountable I am to myself. There's a saying that you can manage what you can't measure. Good for you!

Chicken is awesome - you can flavor it to whatever and eat a crapload of it without killing calories. You would always do things like chicken tacos where you can vary the amount you put into the taco, or do a taco salad versus taco.

170-145 = 25 25 pounds x 3500 calories/pound = 87,500 calories 87,500/70 days = 1250 calories/day So you need to consume 1250 fewer calories per day than you burn. That's too much of a deficit for someone your size IMO. If you want to be that aggressive, you should seek the advice of a doctor or nutritionist before…
