I was a caddie in the old days (40 yrs ago) on the Tuxedo Park, NY course (which did not allow carts). Carried two bags 18 holes for $5/bag (some times a tip if I gave good advice). I may have burned 800 calories, certainly not the golfers! I always saw golf for them as mostly a good way to ruin a nice walk in the country.…

Three months. I am impressed and hope to do the same. Won't be showing off at the beach, but it would make for a much more positive Springtime annual physical, the weight combined with last year's heath issues hopefully behind me.

bova... Many thanks. I've tried a few times before (even using fitday) and lost 3-5 lbs then lost focus. Your are undoubtedly right. The trick is to stick with it.

yasavi, good luck to you. I too was underweight in my 20s. I was a runner. I maintained good weight through my 40s and then gradually started to add fat (the worst kind, i.e. around the middle). Now I need to get back to my mid 40s weight and stay there. Guess its a good thing that life has its phases.
