This may not help your shin splints exactly, but I'm also doing the C25K, and have found that my legs used to ache, and then I started to stretch every leg muscle, and have helped to keep them feeling better.. This is the series I do... http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/how-to-stretch-after-a-run.aspx

[img]http://shweet_heart.tripod.com/compare.jpg[/img] I was almost 40 lbs heavier in the one on the right, lost 16 lbs since I started here in Jan, took a year and a half for the others. Looks like I finally found something that is working. The smaller one was when I weighted in at about 189lbs, and about to go for a run.…

That's great! Yesterday I did W4D1 which I was putting off for a few weeks cuz I couldn't do it! So, I know how it can be to keep trying to do it! It'll get easier, and you'll be amazed at how quickly you can progress. Keep positive, and keep up the AMAZING worK!

I'm doing the C210K program by the same developers, and I just log it in my exercise log as mod walking and jogging slow pace for the time for each interval. It's not perfect, but it's as good as I could figure out!

Today I did Week 2, Day 3. Getting nervous about Week 3, though. 3 minutes sounds like A LONG time! Edit: I'm always looking for friends, so if anyone wants to do this journey together, I'm happy to be part of it!

I use it when I'm feeling a bit lazy. I have Wii Fit, too, and I find that if you use the strength training part, it can be alright.. there is a site.. wiifitroutine.com that has some exercise routines that are pretty good. Better than randomly clicking through! Hope it helps! Edited to say: In the last year I dropped 10…

I do a lot of my exercising through the Wii (and walking to work!), and with the balance board, it calculates it and records it for me. So, I do that every day. Though, actual weighting and charting myself is done on a proper scale, monday mornings after pee, before my shower.

I'm pretty new here, too. Going to be 30 in June, and well, I'm tired of being unhealthy. Going to make my 30s better than my 20s! I'm happy to be your friend here, and help to motivate you. I'm always looking for new friends, it helps to keep the motivation up! Calories don't transfer to the next, that I know of, however,…

I'm new here myself (started yesterday!) and would love to help someone else keep up the motivation! I'd like to lose about 60lbs. Last year I lost 20, so hopefully I can do better this year!

I'm so boring when I cook, so I'm loving the ideas here! Going to try some tomorrow!
