For someone that is 5'2" and 128 lbs, you are in a normal weight range. I don't know what you are trying lose as a goal, but make sure you set your weekly goal low. .5lb should do it. And keep in mind the closer you are to you normal weight the slower it comes off and the less room there is for error. Make sure you are…

Because your straining so hard looking up at her pedestal instead of looking around at your own lily pad. You need to start looking at your own accomplishments and successes and stop comparing them to hers. Her accomplisments and successes are hers and they will be different than yours. Once you realize that, you will be…

That is a great post and excellent additions to it. Thanks for sharing.

It sounds like it could be the combinations of food too. When you eat the chicken breast, I dont' know how much carrots or cauliflower you are talking about, but how much carbs and fiber are you really getting. With the burger and rice, you are getting protien, carbs and fiber from the rice. The same with breakfast you are…

It is because this website, does not allow you to go below 1200 cal. That is their minimum. If you are a petite person, some people feel you should be allowed to go as low as 1000. If you want to see what that does to your weight loss you could go to your goals page and it will show you what your weekly weight loss…

Welcome aboard. I found this site the same way you did. I love it. Don't let the tight budget deter you from eating healthy. You just need to get creative. Buy some of the healthier stuff in bulk and freeze or separate. Stay away from single serve items. They are convnenient but more expensive. I just buy a box of snack…

I would bring it to a local jewelry store and see how much they would charge to change it. I have an f-4 and I have changed the battery myself. All you have to do is un screw the back piece, take out the old and put in the new and screw the back piece on. Good luck.

What a great story. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes in you new married life.

I think you need to eat more. I don't know on the working out less. I think there might be a point where you are working out too much. Twice a day 6 days a week might be too much. I would increase calories by a couple of hundred at least or eat back your exercise calories. Keep in mind I said or. If you feed your body…

My first few workouts this year weren't too bad. OF course it was on the treadmill at a schlubs pace and on my wii fit. I do remeber the my first day on the c25k. I didn't think I was going to make it, and when it was done I was so pround of myself. Then when I got to the week where I had to do the 20 min run, really,…

That is amazing progress. Thanks for sharing and inspiring us. Best wishes on continued success.

Take a look at the fiber and the protien too. You need to compare everything. Don't forget that protien and fiber will curb the sugar spike that your body gets from the carbs. I am not saying this is the best choice, but keep going when you are comparing nutritional value. It's not all calories, carbs and fat. Some fats…

I think you need to take a step back and think about these relationships you are hanging onto. You need to figure out what the benefit of each scenario brings to the quality of life. ie the Bible study adds a spiritual element that helps you through other areas of your life. That is a positive thing. Is there maybe another…

I have fallen short of my goals. My initial goal was to lose 50 lbs. I am pretty close and have exceeded other goals that I had set during the year. Going into the next year I am going to take my goals to the next level. I would like to still get to my goal weight of 150lbs. I would like to convert my 5k into a 10k and I…

That's so true. I asked my husband what he thought of that idea. He said as long as it wasn't under the tree Christmas morning when the kids got up. :blushing: :smooched:

Good for you. Keep up the good work.

This is somewhat true too. You need to have moderation. If you only have junk food or only healthy food it doesn't teach childrent moderation. They will eat what is familiar and splurge on what is withheld.

HI You can add me. I am new to running, but have been enjoying it so far. Welcome aboard.

Welcome aboard. You can add me as a friend if you like. First I would like to suggest you take things here in stride. For every opinion you will find here, you will find many with the opposite. You have to treat this like raising a child. It is all the time, it takes commitment, everyone gives advice, and you will have…

I'm a little confused. A stone is 14lbs, so if you are saying it goes from 14 stones to 14.5, does that mean you have gained 7lbs? I think you may need a new scale if it is fluctuating that much. If you are exercising and building mucsle, sore muscles with retain more water in efforts to repair. Things like that will cause…
