as bad as it sounds, i think sometimes you can't wait for that feeling to overcome you. sometimes you just have to go through the motions that you KNOW will get you to your goal, and eventually, when you see progress again, you will get excited again. don't give up!!!

i want to be excited again! i dread getting up in the morning because i hate all my clothes! i'm in a constant state of frump but making progress everyday!!!!

Dig deep and try to remember all the reasons you are doing this! I am going to guess if you can get yourself to the gym one time, you'll be right back on the horse! Sometimes you just need to experience that feeling of accomplishment again to remind you that you can do it!!!!!

Sometimes when I get hungry late, I just go to bed. I know it doesn't always solve the problem, but if I'm not ravenous, I can fall asleep and forget about food :-)

Hey!! Glad you joined. I just signed up last week and agree that this might be just what I need to get me under 200 :) I was up to 262 around Xmas of 2011. I'm now down to 207. These last 55 are going to be tough, but I am so committed! :smile:

so true! don't let yourself even think about quitting. make this transformation like your second job. that's what i had to do. you just wake up one morning and you say to yourself, "I WILL do this!" And then you get to doing :)

That's no good! If you have the ability to move out, that might be your best option. If not, summon up all the strength you have to say no to those items. Remember how good you will feel when you get to your goal!!! Being healthy And happy feels way better than any food tastes :)

I have tunnel vision when I go to the gym specifically for this reason!!!!! Ignore all the idiots who aren't giving you a chance. When you are in shape and looking HOTT, he is going to be smiling for a different reason ;)

I find it hard to look at the big picture. If you tell yourself, "I have to do this for a year," it might get overwhelming. Break it down into small goals, and then your little victories will keep you going!!! Welcome! YOU CAN DO IT!
