I don't think being 5'9" and weighing 172 is anything to be embarrassed about. I'm 5'5" and weigh 175 and I don't feel like I'm huge but I know I'm not thin either.

Yes, you want to burn more than you take in but keep in mind you are burning calories all day long, not just while exercising. HIIT on the treadmill is a great calorie burner.

I just bought some of the Emerald Breakfast on the Go packs and they are really good and filling. I have been eating one of those and a banana with a cup of coffee and that usually holds me over until lunch.

Black beans. I know, it sounds awful, but you cannot taste them once they are baked and the brownies taste great. Plus, you get a ton of fiber. Puree the beans, add a little water and mix it with the brownie mix and bake according to directions on the box.

I am currently doing WW. I love it. Having the accountability of the weekly meetings is what works for me. I don't think one is better than the other. It's just what works for you.
