um, sum41 did the cover.. that song was nickelback's first single.

Coldplay is beautiful. Yes, I am one of "those" people and I don't care haha Nickelback, though, really? Come on. Or like, Creed? Or Rebecca Black?

Take your meds 30 minutes before you eat breakfast. Doesn't matter what time that is, or what time you get up. You need to wait at least 4 hours before you take your BCP after you take your levo. Also, if you're taking a vitamin, don't take it at the same time as your thyroid meds because that can seriously jack you up.…
-
Wait until you've been on your meds for long enough that your thyroid is regulated before you go too crazy with adjusting your calorie intake. For most people, if you have 80 pounds to lose, you could eat more, but don't forget your thyroid is still kind of broken. You might have to deal with eating less :/ My BMR is 2100+…

Yep! Home > Goals > Custom > Macros I'd suggest upping your fiber target to at least 25g/day - it helps a LOT when you have fiber make up a chunk of your carbs for the day and avocados are a totally delicious and stellar way to get fiber. I looked through a couple days in your diary and it doesn't look bad at all! My…

If you mean does it matter that your calories are coming from vegetables, not really, no. But the calories in them do count! Try finding a dip you like, something sour cream, cream cheese, yogurt, or peanut butter based are things I can think of off the top of my head. The protein and fat in a limited portion of dip +…

days 5 and 6 done!

Most people who fly the IIFYM flag are those who disagree with "clean" eating and try to get people to see that you don't have to live on spinach leaves and egg whites. You're absolutely right, we all have to fit our choices into what MFP gives us (or what we tweak MFP to be) but some people are more liberal in their food…

i would just like to comment briefly on the glory that is this day of eating. talk about a dream. i haven't been to coldstone in ages!

If you actually stick to doing that amount of exercise, your calculations are basically spot on! I'd personally start out around 1,500 calories (that's roughly 20% cut from your TDEE) and if you're not losing, reduce slightly. Make sure to give yourself enough time to adjust to a particular routine before deciding it…

I'm looking to lose the same total amount of weight by June 15, 2014! Also graduating from college :) Super doable and maintainable. Buddies!
-
Ok but you can not literally eat everything in moderation. People that say 'moderation' and 'IIFYM' still adhere to the guidelines they're given to lose weight. You can't just eat 2 bites of everything you've ever wanted and still expect to lose weight because you're only eating 2 bites and not the entire thing.
-
Ok, but the point of IIFYM is **IF** it fits your macros, not eat anything and justify it. The way it works is to eat what you want while staying INSIDE (or very close to, if you want to nitpick) the allowances MFP gives you. You clearly didn't do that, thus not really following IIFYM. I don't understand what you were…

I don't eat after the sun goes down, and for me it's purely psychological. If I eat when it's dark out, I'll eat all night and literally will take food to bed with me and snack in bed. I'm totally aware that it doesn't matter if I eat past a certain time, but I can't keep my intake at any kind of a reasonable level if I…

I just made peanut butter protein pancakes for breakfast. Holy CRAP. 1/2c (110g) cottage cheese 1/4c (20g) oats 1 tbsp (16g) peanut butter 1 egg Blend until it's smooth but not runny, cook like pancakes, destroy. Your nutritional values will vary based on the brands and versions of cottage cheese and peanut butter you use,…

took the stairs at work all week! haven't eaten a meal that i didn't cook for myself all week!

i'm glad it's an official recall now! i ate FOUR of these damn things with the affected code before i knew anything about a problem with them and i am currently paying the price for it. hopefully i can still get my money back even though i already threw away everything else in my fridge :/
-
today is rest day from my plank challenge and 80 reps on my squat challenge! i'm also really planning on getting to the gym for 30 minutes of cardio, but i've apparently become a victim of the chobani yogurt recall and i'm not sure it's the safest idea to leave the house for that long :/
-
today's workout was a 40 second plank and 70 squats. i'm going to to take a shower and cry for my quads right now.
-
ohhh. i've been eating recalled yogurt since sunday. gnarly. i am SO glad i though to give this thread another look before i made dinner. all 12 cups in my fridge are in the recall. womp.

I eat pretty much the same thing every day because I shop in batches. It does get a little boring, but it works for me. I'm really big on portioning things out and pre-making as much as possible. I also have serious issues with fast food - it's like an on/off switch. I either eat everything cooked at home, or I will…

I'm doing 30 day plank and squat challenges from Pinterest this month. Today was rest day from squats thank god. The plank was only 30 seconds, which is totally doable for me. The end goals are a 5 minute plank and 250 squats! I've also just started going back to the gym! I used to be a weight lifting beast but I totally…

thank god today is squat rest day! planks done! hope everyone is having a fantastic day 4 :)

ok, your profile headline says "the definition of skinny fat." that's exactly what that is. you need to build muscle and lose body fat. whatever else is in there is your organs, and you can't really do without your intestines. you need to get rid of the layer of fat on top and build muscle to support your organs and…

i work out right after i wake up and before i eat breakfast. i feel best throughout the day when i do it that way.
-
the whole point of iifym is that you eat whatever you want though? your calorie distribution seems really regimented, i'm not sure what you're going to find that will fit your midmorning snack and dessert categories and be satisfying. just eat some stuff! you'll need about 8 oz. meat plus dairy to hit your protein goal.…

Dude I'm super in. If I can get 40 pounds down I'll be more than halfway to my goal. 10 pounds a month really isn't that aggressive as long as we stay consistent.
