congratulations on all the goals you've met so far! and good luck with your 10k training, i have that set as a goal to reach by the end of the year and it's fun to work towards! have you found a difference between doing c25k outdoors as opposed to on a treadmill in terms of the effort it takes?

oh goodness no, i am the furthest from a victim blamer there is. i guess i phrased things badly.

have you whacked the rim of the lid on a counter? that can sometimes help pop the seal. you may also want to place the jar on a lace doily in the center of your floor and perform a ritual jar rain dance. it sometimes helps.

honestly, one of the reasons i've stayed fat is because i feel like it makes me less of a target for assaults, etc. i don't live in the safest area and when i walk to campus (about a mile from my house), i don't feel like anyone is going to try to assault or mug me because i'm not physically appealing. that's probably…

Why would you go to an Italian pasta restaurant if you're trying to eat low carb? Why torture yourself?

The fiber goal is set low on mfp, you should be aiming for at least 25 grams a day, if not 30 or more. Just make sure you balance it with enough water and fat so that your pipes are lubricated enough and you don't back your digestive system up. Everything will get stuck otherwise, and that's not cute haha

go to this link and fill out the information. it will give you a chart with different activity levels, pick the one that's closest to what yours is and eat those calories. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/bmr/

ok, if you eat 1200 and then burn 300, if you don't eat those 300 calories back, you're going to lose weight. here's what happens. 1200 calories of food - 300 calories burned from exercise = only 900 calories a day for your body to live on. if you're not trying to lose weight, you need to eat all of the calories you burned…

i really, really like stuffed bell peppers. if he's ok with grains, one of my favorite things to do is to take a bell pepper, cut the top off and core it, roast it for a bit and then stuff it with quinoa or lentils (you could totally do rice if he's ok with that too), and then onions, seasonings, etc. and some chicken or…

ok, for you ladies who are unsure of your numbers! if you're going to use the TDEE method, you HAVE GOT to ignore the numbers mfp has given you and you WILL NOT be eating exercise calories back. what TDEE does is calculate your BMR (baseline number of calories required to live in a coma) and your average "exercise"…

good LORD what are you doing to get your activity level that high?

777twist is totally right. sometimes it's easier to use the cooked version, like with i dunno, brownies or something. you're not going to measure out 1 tbsp of mix and just eat that dry, but with a lot of things like pasta, oats, lentils, etc. it's way easier to use the dry version.

3 pounds in 3 weeks is a pound a week, which is just about where you should be! good for you for recognizing that a low carb eating pattern isn't sustainable for you! much better to eat in a way that you can actually get along with :) congrats on the loss, keep it up! but definitely don't get discouraged if you don't lose…

look at the label for the product you are eating, it will tell you. 90% of the time, serving sizes are listed for uncooked product. most packages will also give you information for a suggested preparation. for example, cheerios has information for just the cereal and then another column for cereal + x amount of milk. for…

the merrell pace glove is a fantastic shoe that works amazingly for lifting and it happens to double as a running shoe. i currently wear vibram five fingers to lift, and i'm doing stronglifts 5x5. hope that helps :)

of the two, the rock climber is more attractive. but i greatly prefer what's generally known as 'builtfat'. dudes with too little body fat just don't do it for me.

the exact same way.. you click on someone's profile and click 'view diary' if they have it available. there's no way to just search for diaries or anything, you have to go user by user.

The first ingredient in Nutella is sugar. Not entirely productive from either a satiation or a calorie effectiveness standpoint.

hello fellow buffalonian! if you log the food you're going to eat the night before, you won't have to be on the computer at work to do it. i pre-plan my meals at least one, if not 2 or 3 days in advance so i know what i'm going to be eating. this lets me keep track of my carbs, protein, and fat, and i'll know in advance…

between 15 and 17 is a good place to start. the adjustable ones are like, stupid expensive but in the long run you save money because you don't have to keep buying new ones. if the weight gets too light, it's essentially useless. be prepared to progress quickly and have a ridiculous amount of fun :) you might want to try…
