Anyway, OP I am sorry she hurt your feelings. But just consider the source and try to let it go.

"physical violence"?? Ok. A quick smack on her mouth is a simple sting that she deserves. This country kills me. If at 11 she doesn't have empathy, she either hasn't been parented right (and by the mother's lack of caring I can guess she hasn't been) or she won't learn by sweet little talks.

Oh no worries. I've been around here a loooong time. I know how this place works and why. ;)

And I don't care who wants to bash me for calling her an *kitten*. She acted like one so she earned the title.

Your niece is a little *kitten*. Sorry to say it, but it's true. My children would NEVER speak that way of ANYONE, and if they did, their little mouth would get smacked. Sorry she's a little *kitten*. It will likely only get worse with age if she is almost 11 now.

Christmas Eve is prime rib, mashed potatoes, and a salad. Christmas my bil is making a Mexican feast :)

I have a patient where I work who is 96 years old. She is so spunky and sweet! She asks me EVERY visit if I am wearing a headband. When I tell her yes, she goes on and on about how she can't find a good soft headband. I tell her I get them at Rite Aid or Target etc. After her last visit, I bought her a pack of headbands…

Bump :)

Most banks have a Christmas fund program that I have used for years. It automatically puts aside whatever amount you choose to a savings account that can be used for the holidays. I recommend that! :)

Bump for soup :)

My dumbass ex husband traded my Honda Civic in without my consent (first brand new car I ever bought and paid off) and bought me a used smurf blue Santa Fe. Merry *kitten* Christmas, here's a car payment. Tool.

I have seen lots of red in weddings...it's really pretty! It's a December wedding so she is making it a Christmas winter wonderland :)

Thanks for the replies! :) I did try a red at MAC last night but my husband said it was a bit too orange undertoned. I think I'll look for a darker under tone. I have been wanting a good red lipstick so this will be fun! :)

That's what I was thinking. Red on the lips and not too heavy on the eyes :)

I take back the after having kids remark.....sorry man lol

I never had to, but if my kid was a maniac I would to keep him safe. One of my ex boyfriends jumped in the monkey exhibit at the zoo when he was a kid. He definitely should have been on a leash.

You will get used to putting them in. Just take your time and relax. You may sweat curse and cry the first week. Beware though that contacts can harm your eyes greatly. I am hopefully going to get Lasik next Thursday IF my right cornea heals enough to have it done. Nobody ever told me how harmful they can be. You can even…

Thank you! I am glad that man didn't make you put the lotion on the skin. ;) (really, I am!)

My newborn baby almost died.

I would respect your wife's wishes.

:ohwell: Will DEFINATELY have to discuss boundaries for sure! We just started allowing him to ride around the block alone! lol!
-
Boo buzz killers! Lucky for us our neighborhood is tucked away so he likely won't get busted! Off to look at the pads now! :)
-
Thank you! I do think he has ridden one at his dad's house but for some reason I am alittle nervous. lol He will definately be getting a top of the line new helmet with it! Likely the pads until I see he is really stable on it.

Use the HCG diet if you want to lose 100 pounds. And gain back 175.

Well if he gets his *kitten* kicked he won't be safe, so......... I'm just kinda thinking elbow pads may be alittle over the top. (my co worker recommended them, I don't see kids wear them in our neighborhood) ETA: there was some sarcasm in my OP............;)

Thanks everyone! I do use a mat and put my towel down. My gym towels aren't necessarily soft though. I will get some Aquaphor! :)
-
Do you do them high on your sides too?

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I would really watch your intake and as much as yoga is good, I feel getting in some good hard cardio and even some weight training will be much more effective to prepare you for the delivery and hault the weight gain. I pushed for 4 hours.....yes 4 hours. I was very glad I was in good…
