When you get to level 2, there is a LOT of plank work which was hard on my wrists. For the "ab hold", I used two of my bigger hand weights as "bars" to hold instead of putting my hands flat. (You'll know what I'm talking about when you get there). You can also go down to your elbows to modify a little. Good luck!

From personal experience -- every spring when I start running again (I live in snow country), the compliments about my legs increase. I run a lot though -- half marathon training.

Have you had children? A few of my friends who have had children struggle with the stomach area even though they are all very fit.

Try cutting back on your sugar -- it's over every day. Lose the sweets, change to a whole grain cereal or oatmeal in the morning. I have a friend who just dropped 8 lbs in a few weeks just by cutting sugar out of his diet.

I'm thinking of trying it but I'm a runner too. Other runners, how do you split your workouts? I do training runs 3 days a week, easy runs 3 other days, and I've been doing Jillian Michaels DVDs 2x a week. Wondering how I can fit Insanity into my running schedule.

I'm running a half on May 6 too! My second one, first was two years ago. And I'm going to Cabo May 31 for 7 days, so even more motivation!

Almost any restaurant will do a piece of plain grilled fish or meat and a side of steamed veggies or salad with dressing on the side. Also, tell them you can't have dairy so they don't try to sneak some butter into anything.

Grande half caf soy latte -- 130 cals I think. They use vanilla soy milk so it's a little sweet without the addition of the chemical-laden syrups. I personally don't like they way anything artificially sweetened tastes.

I tried it with no success. I don't have a lot to lose, 10-15 lbs, but I didn't notice a difference in my eating. I think you still need the will power to turn away larger portions/fatty foods. I would not recommend it to anyone, waste of money.

Brownies! I can't make them because I'll eat the whole pan! And cookies, potato chips, cream cheese (I'll eat it straight from the tub with a spoon), and I know better than to ever buy Nutella.

Going veggie is great IF you can do it healthy -- you can still eat pizza, fries, potato chips and chocolate on a veggie diet.
