Oscar Mayer makes 98% fat free hot dogs...if you like hot dogs, they are like 45 calories. You can eat one with a bun and ketchup and still be under 200! I also like Wheat Thins flatbread crackers (they are big and 3 for 60 calories) with a wedge of light Laughing Cow cheese (35 calories). Hope that helps! :-)

I think it's a personal choice, but I'll tell you what I do. I've tried before to "make up" for going over by reducing calories after that, but it hasn't worked for me. The problem is that the calories I consume now are just enough to keep me feeling full, so if I try eating less to make up for a mistake, I just get…

Oh yeah mie is definitely the same as yours! And I'm just as bad! My hubby gets so mad but I can't help but make a face when he's eating/drinking. Those noised GROSS ME OUT!!! :-D I also have had to leave the room before to avoid yelling at someone, "Close your freaking mouth!!!" LOL

Congrats!!! That's awesome! :-)

It's when someone gets below 200 pounds :-)

Welcome! I love it here and I hope you will as well. Logging your food makes such a difference in the "battle". I love God too and I've started learning to depend more on him as I've realized he doesn't think it's shallow but wants me to be healthy, too. :-) Good luck!!!

I agree with lowering your weekly loss goal. When I started I saw the amount I could eat to lose 2 pounds per week and thought, I can't do it!! So I switched my goal to 1.5 pounds per week. To me it was woth it to lose a tiny bit slower if it meant I wasn't going to get frustrated and quit. Also, as many have said, once…

You can do it! I started January 1st and I've lost 22 lbs (tomorrow is weigh-in for me so hopefully more like 24!). I've also lost 4.5 inches in my waist and 5.25 in my hips. I've tried many times before and quit before I got this far. The difference is the website. My friends cheer me on when I'm doing well and encourage…

I like Benefiber's Citrus Punch drink mix. It mixes into a bottle of water and tastes like Kool Aid. Only 20 calories!

I really like Kraft's low fat Raspberry Vinagrette. Now, I know you said you weren't a fan of the vinagrette type, but I wasn't either until I tried this one and I actually liked it, so I thought you might want to give it a shot. :-)

Thanks guys you're the best. :-) :-) :-)

Thank you guys, your compliments mean so much!! :-)

Thanks so much friends!! I ~LOVE~ MFP and all the amazing people here...I truly appreciate your support and encouragement!

I did the same thing yesterday...didn't log and ate a BUNCH of crap. Result: I FEEL like crap today! So I will be right back on track today. One thing I've noticed....the day after I have a "bad" day, the best thing for me to do is go right back to my normal routine. In the past I tried to "make up" for it the next day by…

I always keep a few low calorie snacks in my purse. You can also anticipate if you are going out and try to eat fewer calories in the earlier part of the day so you have more for evening. Or, I like to exercise more to get more calories back. If you are going out to eat you can look at the menu online before you go and…

Yeah sounds great! I'm at 215 and have not been under 200 in 5 years. I cannot WAIT.

Yes, I do like it a lot overall. I actually take the "lo" kind because I was also overly emotional on the regular, so my dr switched me to lo. I like it better, I just seem to really struggle with food in the days before I start. I'll be interested to see if you notice this too!

Haha I love the ones with the scale! :-) Great job!!

Welcome! I've heard that people who log what they eat are twice as likely to lose than those who don't. Also, the support system is priceless. I've realized that joining MFP has truly helped me get that difference between dieting and lifestyle change. Don't get discouraged when you have bad days, just get right back on the…

DON'T GIVE UP!!! I've been doing MFP for about 5 weeks, and last week I only lost half a pound. I was really frustrated and annoyed because the least I've ever lost is 1.4 pounds before that. I was tempted to go eat but I stuck with it and this morning (I weigh in on Saturdays but I had to check after being so annoyed this…

I know what you mean! I've begun pulling out some things that have been buried in the back of the closet for way too long. So exciting!! Keep it up girl!

Ooh I bet it is good with the jello! Yes, surprisingly I did think it was very good! I mean it is different, but not a lot and not (IMO) in a bad way. Ya'll will have to let me know what you think! :-)

Laughing Cow cheese wedges. Around 35 calories and you can spread them on crackers. Yummy snack!! I've also discovered Nature Valley Granola thins...little squares of granola with chocolate on the back. Only 80 calories but they feel like a cheat to me, so tasty. I know the feeling of getting bored at the store--finding a…

You guys are the best. :-) Your encouragement, support, and understanding make all the difference!! It helps so much to know others are going through the same thing. Binging is embarrassing and hard to talk about. It's really comforting to hear about others who struggle with this as well. Thank you!!!

Welcome! I have been here for a month and lost 15 pounds so far. I see you've already lost a few--that's great! It's a great site. I've read that you are twice as likely to lose weight if you write down what you eat, so it makes sense that people are so successful here. Best of luck!!!

It might help you get past the frustration of the pound if you take your measurements. I've been taking mine and when I don't lose as much as I want in a week, I check my measurements and usually see much more progress there. Also, this is what I tell myself when I get stuck: if I'm eating less calories than I'm burning, I…

Thank you much guys. Your support means so much! Even though I don't know most of you, we are all in it together so I feel like I so and it really makes a difference. God bless!!!

You can do this! Keep a calorie-free drink in your hand and take a swig whenever you want to graze. You should pick up some of that new dessert gum too, it's really tasty and might ward off the sweet cravings! Eat off a small plate and eat slowly. Allow yourself some of the treats, just get little pieces. And, what I think…
