  • SW: 296 (wow, usually do kg, didn't realise it was so high!) CW: 277 GW: 265 (Should be able to do it if I up my exercise)
  • I posted this in another thread before, but without as much detail .. We'll be having a champagne & cake reception in a hall after the wedding. We were going to go for a church hall .. but looks like the elections are going to be on the same day and we are sure that will mean no halls will be available :( So going to have…
  • Oooh I'm just a little excited. The dress I ordered online has arrived. I just wasn't here to answer the door. I doubted that I'd actually even get the dress... let alone receive it at such lightening speed. It will be interesting to see how good the quality is.
  • Ohhh .. I live in Sydney, but we have a famer's market ... LOTS of them ... I hate the one just down the road ... The traffic jams because of it mean I can never take the short cut to the pool LOL
  • I've lost 17lb since over January .. and I eat 3 meals a day plus fruit. Cereal & toast for breakfast, a sandwich OR salad (with meat) for lunch, and dinner with meat & veggies. I know how I'd prefer to lose weight ... eating food!
  • Hi everyone .. congrats to us all! I'm and older bride (47 by the time it rolls around). It's my first wedding, and been engaged for 8 years, but family losses on both sides of the family has delayed and delayed our wedding. We had a wedding planned & tentatively booked 7 years ago. We're aiming to get married in September…
  • I just found out a trick for finding out where "knock off" sites got the original pics etc. Down load the knock off picture .. go to Google images & click on the camera in the search box. Upload the picture again and look for the different sites the dress is posted (and hopefully finding the reputable one). I managed to…
  • I went to an afternoon tea wedding when I was 17 and I have always known since then that's what I want. So I'm chuffed that high teas have become so popular. We're planning a low key wedding for family reasons and our wedding may be no more than a cake & champagne reception (with high tea tiered trays) and taking everyone…
  • I joined the group. We're meant to be getting married in September, but due to sick member of the family it may have to be changed. I think I've found the dress (simple, knee length 50's inspired) but when you're losing weight you must just have to accept a cut off date and maintain .. even if that weight is still too…
  • Or borrow them from the mini fridge if there's one :D
  • LOVE your sticker ideas. I'm a teacher and have hundreds of the things! ... I make a graph .. and plot it every day. The stickers could be work with that! YES ... I know it will go up and down ... I accept that ... but I love statistics and I love when it does go down. Sometimes it goes up almost 1kg and stays there for 2…
  • Was just going to say something similar to this!! And I went into something .. looked up Nutrition information .. clicked "NO" in answer to if it was correct ... and it let me edit it. Mind you ... I put the wrong amount in one field ... but realised my mistake and edited it. Human error occurs at time. It's the same with…
  • I'm only new around here .. not sure how the support groups work out. I got a message in my email but can't work out how to find it once I log in :S It would be good to have a beginners group/topic where we can set mini goals that are achievable and only take a day. Before moving onto another ... to keep up motivation. Eg:…
  • Can you check if the places you're going have gyms? I don't know how heavy the weights you normally lift are .. but here's something to consider if you're not wanting more than 16lb per arm. Or 8lb per leg. http://www.aquabells.com/specs.html
  • You could borrow fitness DVDs from the library as well. If you have a game console (eg Wii) you can get fitness workouts for cheap ... even cheaper if you get them second hand at a Game store. Also, local community halls/clubs often have free (or extremely cheap) fitness classes when you're ready for the group thing.
  • It's good to have a little group .. perhaps we could set mini challenges. Probably need to be each day ... mix it up ... cause I get bored easily *LOL* And hi Kxxooo I'm from Sydney too ... good to know there are others out there on the same time zone
  • Someone who knows how to build ... bodies & cupboards
  • A model who moonlights as a clown
  • Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! ..... (Sydney here)
  • Over ...... and you know it's right cause if you have a print on it ... you'll see the wrong side if it's under!!
  • My question though is how much below is BELOW? ... recommendations are based on general stats like height, current weight, activity. Does it take into account one's already low metabolisms? I'm not asking this as an argument .. I'm confused. Most days I eat a sensible diet, plenty of food and meet the majority of my goals…
  • Yup ... you have more time on your hands. I'm on holidays so I've been logging in here to keep focused on diet/fitness etc instead of food. I think weekends take planning. Perhaps "save" 100c a day so that on the weekends you have 250cals a day for a splurge. That way you won't feel you've ruined it ... you've earnt it!…
  • Actually I watched the SUPER NANNY a few days ago and it was about a young girl that would only eat sweet foods. Nanny & the mum had her eating whole meals and veggies within a few days by using distraction tactics. The family talked to her while she ate about the things she could see around her (they started with a picnic…
  • V8 juice? I used to only every like raw carrots, cooked potato and lettuce. Visiting friends I'd force peas down with water (unless I had pockets to stuff them in!!). My father took me to visit a very poor family and told me I had to eat EVERYTHING I was given .... cucumber sandwiches!! And I discovered how much I liked…
  • I was missing my icecream treats .. so today I made my own. I used 1/2 tub No Fat Chobani yoghurt, 1 kiwi fruit, 1 nectarine, 1 tub Weight Watchers jelly (jello). By the time I divided it they only worked out at 38 cals each. A little tart, so even adding some honey wouldn't make them more than 50cals each. Probably…
  • OMG I don't need my eyes to get any bigger .... and I think it's only babies that are attracted to big eyes ..... and emus *LOL*
  • Peeing on the floor and blaming a nearby pensioner.
  • Aww you're a little ray of sunshine ... HIGHER (and to be fair the pic was taken last year, just couldn't be bothered finding a different one to crop *LOL*)
  • Ummm ... think there's a special forum for THAT kinda intimate activity :D
