I got engaged on New Years Eve, been together a year and a half. Getting married Sept 7th.

I did 20 mins of Kickboxing this morning (2 segments of a 10 minute solutions DVD) and if it snowed all day at home like it did at work I may be shoveling snow when I get home. :ohwell:

I haven't even started looking for a dress yet. We are hoping for a September wedding so I know the clock is ticking. I have to admit I am a little nervous to start trying them on. I never like shopping for clothes lol.

Great job! You look amazing! I have been putting off starting it again... but now I think I need to start sooner rather than later

Excellent post! It truly is about making choices. I chose to skip my morning workout this morning so my fiance could get to work early (we carpool). Most likely I will choose to let him make dinner so I can get it in later tonight.

Hi Everyone, My name is Sara and I got engaged on New years eve. We are hoping for a September wedding, but we haven't started looking for a venue yet so that could change. So much to plan, but enjoying the newly engaged feeling :)

The new Folgers Mocha is pretty good. along with the van haute Choc raspberry and french vanilla  I think one of my favs is Grovestand Cappuccino. they have vanilla, caramel, hazelnut flavours. They also have some different hot chocolate and apple cider flavours too.

I have to agree with the others... practice and it becomes easy. I wore contacts starting when I was 17 until just a couple weeks ago (so about 20 years). I had soft contacts that I replaced every 1-2months. I didn't mind putting them in and out, but that was the price to pay to get out of glasses. I had a friend where…

I have been wanting to read them, but I am really enjoying the tv show and don't want to spoil that. A friend's son found that he didn't enjoy the show as much when he knew some of the surprises already (he started the books after season 2 I think). What do you think?

I have found that you have to find the smaller successes. Like I noticed yesterday that I had to do my bra up one row tighter or that I can do more pushups than I was able to before, or I have logged a lot more workouts in September than I did in August. I have a long way to go, but weight isn't the only success (but it is…

I have a few of the 10 minute solutions dvds. I love the kickboxing one. Each DVD has 5 10 min workouts you can program it to play them all or a selection in whatever order you want. Some are better than others, but they are very adaptable.

My Doctor told me that your dose is tied to your weight. As you lose you will need less and if you gain you may need more. Getting it checked regularly is the best way to go as you lose.

I was with a guy for 4 years who couldn't decide if he wanted kids. I knew I did. Worst thing I did was wait around to see if he would change his mind. He strung me along, giving me hope he would change, but in the end I chose to leave. I am now with an amazing guy who wants what I want. First thing you need to figure out…

I just finished one called Don't Look Twice by Andrew Gross. This is the second in a series centered around Ty Hauck, a police lieutenant. It was actually pretty good (the first one: The Dark Tide was better), he often co-writes with James Patterson. I am now onto re-reading Interview with the Vampire. I read quite a few…

I did 20 mins of a kickboxing DVD (10min solutions) this morning before work... not sure if I will get anything else in today or not though.

My grandma passed away in 2002. My friend and I were using her Spirit board a few years ago and I believe we connected with my grandma. She told me I would meet an amazing man who will adore me (I had been single for about 2 years). I did meet him about a year later. Another time we were trying to get guidance for…

Just south of Penticton, BC here... in the  of wine country   :drinker:

I have bought the odd shirt that was just slightly too small in hopes that I will eventually fit into it. Unfortunately I have had a crazy few years where I put back on 2/3rds of the weight I lost in 2009 :grumble: Many reasons and excuses, but in the end I went back to old habits! So i have kept all those smaller clothes…

Finally finished 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz (and the novella the Moonlit Mind) both quite good. I am now half way through Tess Gerritsen's Last to Die, the latest paperback in the Rizzoli and Isles series. It is so good I am having a hard time putting it down (damn work!) If you like teen fiction I recently…

Just hoping to relax a bit. I moved at the end of June and it feels like all of July has been spent unpacking. The weather isn't looking like it is going to be too great here so probably just curling up with a book or a movie (it feels like it has been a long time since we have had any down time!)

I love TurboFire, I dropped a lot of inches when I was doing it last summer. You are right though it can be a longer workout depending on the day. I have been having trouble fitting it in lately. I will hopefully have more time soon now I am almost unpacked in my new place. I don't know about T25.

I tried several sites when I was single. You have to weed through a lot, but it can work. I met my boyfriend on POF over a year ago and we have been living together for 2 months now. I was about ready to give up for good and he was just signing back on after a few months break. We were meant to meet. (ok our paths had…

I actually read an interview with Joss after the kickstarter campaign for the Veronica Mars movie and he said he would love to be able to revisit firefly in some manner, but his schedule is tied up for the next 3 years with the marvel movies. so maybe in a few years when that is done he will see what the appetite is like…

Stake Land was a real surprise, much better than we expected. ETA. Slammin' salmon was hilarious!

I tend to wear tight top with a built in bra, plus another sports bra, and capris on the bottom that are on the tighter side. I find the jiggle can be painful when jumping so I will sometimes wear one of the waist trimmer belts just to hold it in for those kinds of workouts.
-
I used one while working out, not to trim my waist faster but to hold down the jiggling when I was jumping:embarassed: . So it does have a use... just not necessarily the one they advertise!
-
I agree... I loved this book, and I cried so much!

* Don't wait too long to try on those "too small" clothes you have been saving... If you wait too long you wont get to wear them. There were a few in my closet that went from being too small to being way too big. Every few pounds or inches lost try them on. You never know!
