Keri Arthur is a good one too... Werewolves and vampires with action and romance thrown in. The Riley Jensen series was pretty good. I haven't tried any of her others yet.

I recently finished the Walking Dead - Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman and Explosive 18 by Janet Evanovich. Very different styles, but both quite good. I have now moved on to the Frankenstein Series by Dean Koontz. I had read the first 2 books when they first came out in 2004, but books 3-5 didn't come out until a…

I am now half way through Level 2, and finished Day 5 this morning. I am running into a bit of a problem in that the heat is getting to be a little too much for me... especially puttng on make-up and getting ready for work after. It is just taking far too long to cool down. Our daily highs are into the 30s (celcius) and it…

I finished Level 2 day 3 yesterday and some of it is getting easier. On Tuesday I started adding in Turbofire as well. I am pretty stiff stiff today after squeezing in 3 turbofire workouts and 2 30DS in 2 days. I decided I needed to take today as a rest day. I will be back at it tomorrow! Keep up the good work everyone!

I just finished The Walking Dead Rise of the Governor by Robert Kirkman and Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich (the latest Stephanie Plum novel). Both very different, but very good. I just Dean Koontz's Frankenstein Book one Prodical son last night. I had read book 1 and 2 when the first came out 7 years ago. Koontz…

Hi All, I disappeared again, but had a crazy week and had a mild bought of the flu I think, then of course it was Canada Day long weekend and was busy taking in all the local events. I am back at it today Level 2 Day 2. I am glad that the almost 2 weeks off hasn't ruined my stamina too much, I was able to get through most…

Hi All! I am back at it today. I twisted my ankle last week, then had a bunch of friends and family in town over the weekend so I am starting level 2 over (I had completed 2 days of Level 2 last week). Hope everyone is doing good!

I am gettng pretty frustrated. I twisted my ankle on Monday, and it is still painful. I decided to not stress it further by attempting any more 30DS until it is healed. I guess that means I will start back at the begining of Level 2 after the weekend. I was doing so well at keeping on track too :(

I liked it... My date is acutally an engineer

Level 2 Day 2 completed. I Am happy to say I was not stiff at all yesterday or this morning from Saturdays first voyage into Level 2. I am still having trouble holding the plank position though. I think things are subtly changing for me though. I think my legs are trimming up again and some of my upper back area. Not…

I just finished Level 2 Day 1 this morning. I am going to have to take a day off tomorrow just because I am so busy, so I hope I don't end up too sore. I forgot how much I hated Plank position!

I just finished Level 1. I will start Level 2 tomorrow morning. I was lazy this morning and decided to pass on it, but I was regretting it this afternoon while doing it in my very hot living room! Gotta keep up on the morning workouts!!

I have been using Bolthouse Dressing. The creamy ones are yogurt based and fewer calories. They are in the refridgerated section in the store. The ranch they have is good, but so are the honey mustard, ceasar, raspberry vinigrette... there are quite a few choices.

My schedule has been a bit crazy so far, but I do plan to add in TurboFire in the evenings. Possibly starting next week.

I have completed Day 9 of level 1. I haven't lost much in the way inches that I have noticed, but I remember from before that I tend to lose a little all over so it is hard to notice right away. I do think some of my clothes are fitting differently, but it is hard to say. I have only lost 2 lbs in the last week and a half…

I ended up taking a rest day yesterday (the first in a week) and got a pedicure instead... talk about heaven in that massage chair LOL. I did Level 1 Day 8 this morning and feeling pretty good. I am not sure I am seeing much in the way of physical changes yet, but my staimina and muscle strength has definitely improved!…

I have finished Level 1 Day 7 today. I actually made it through the first set of pushups in time with the video... The second set wasn't so good. Considering I couldn't even get in 5 in a row in Day 1 I am quite pleased. 3 more days to go! Although if I remember correctly I liked level 2 the least of the 3

I was thinking of starting Monday as well. I am going with the prep schedule though, it has been a while since I have worked out regularly and I have a lot to lose. I got most of the way though the prep schedule last summer so I hope it comes back quickly!

I am now halfway through Level 1. I just did Day 5 this afternoon. I am happy with how fast my body has adjusted to it this time around. I am pretty sure the last time I had a lot more pain and trouble with stamina than I am now. Most of my stiffness is gone now except for a bit in my thighs while doing the…

For a while I was doing 2 workouts a day. 30 mins circuit training in the morning and turbofire in the evening. I found there was the occasional day when I just couldn't keep up, not a lot of energy and so I would take a rest day which ended up happening about once a week/week and a half. Listen to your body. Rest days are…

Your stamina will get better! Trust me! I finished Level 1 Day 4 this morning and already I am not finding it as hard as I did on Day 1. I have a condition that is similar to arthritus, but can cause random swelling and pain anywhere in the body not just at the joints. You just have to listen to your body. I had to take…

I know exactly what you mean... I wish there was an option to shut her up except for the change of exercise cues. When I did this before her talking in Level really started to get to me by day 5. I couldn't wait to move on to level 3

I have finished Level 1 day 3. The stiffness is working it's way out and I am even finding that my endurance is already better than it was the first day.

I have finished Day 2 L1, and I am sore. I have muscles I forgot I had! I actually like this kind of pain though, it makes me feel like I acomplished something. I remember from last time it did get easier.

I completed L1D1 today. I did it last summer and looking to reshape and kickstart my workout schedule again. I managed to get through it all, but did have to take a couple of short breaks. It is amazing what a couple months off can do to your stamina! I plan to gradually add in Turbofire as well.

I just finished Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost a pretty good Vampire romance type novel. I have moved on to one called Missing by Sarah Langan. Kind of a horror type novel maybe zombieish I found on a sale table for $2. So far it is pretty interesting, but I haven't gotten too far into it yet. Next is either 50…

I love my kobo ereader. I read a lot and probably on book 20 already for 2012 I have been working my way through Tess Gerritsen's books that the show Rizzoli and Isles is based on and just finishing The Keepsake. Not sure what is up next. I have a stack that I am planning to start, including the Walking Dead compendium, My…

I have been going through a bit of a reading binge LOL I just finished "The Timetraveler's Wife", "The Heart of the Matter" by Emily Griffin and "the Surgeon" by Tess Gerritsen (The books Rizzoli and Isles are based on) I know I have very eclectic tastes! I just started the second book in the Rizzoli and Isles series "The…
