32....SAHM to 4 kids ages 8,7,5 & 2. I run and lift as my main exercises

You will always lose some muscle along with fat. You can minimize the amount of lean mass lost through resistance training and eating enough protein.

I find the opposite to be true. I regularly get derisive comments about being a SAHM.

I feel like that as a SAHM....like its 'nothing'. Logically i know thats not true, but its hard to get over that mindset.

If it fits in your calories and you enjoy it...its fine.

I run about 20 miles per week. I also do sl 5x5. I squat after my runs....usually immediately after (treadmill), but sometimes later that day if I was lucky enough to be able to get an outdoor run in.

I started strong lifts 5x5 at 236lbs (at 5'5"). I am now down 75lbs, and 10lbs away from my highschool weight.....but I am 2 sizes smaller (after having 4 kids). I do have some loose skin on my belly, but I chalk that up to 4 BIG babies (9.2lb - 11.3lbs).

I ran my first half marathon 70lbs over weight and finished in 2 hours, 30 minutes (which is decent time at a little under a 12 minute mile). Im now 60lbs lighter and am struggling to keep up a 12min 30 second mile while training for my next half (in sept). I was fitter 60lbs heavier.

I have a backpack that i carry with me in the gym.....keep my phone, wallet, small towel and water in it. Its a smaller one. Doesnt bother me to toss it next to my bench while at the gym. If I dont bring it, I just tuck the phone in my waistband.

Personally, I know Im going to eat around an hoir before bed...so I save a few hundred calories for that time. I usually eat my meals around 12/1 then 5/6 then 9/10.
