  • Yeah, I know I should not weigh myself everyday, but I just do. It doesn't really get me down, I know the body goes up and down throughout the week. I just think it's so strange that it's always right before weigh in that it starts to show a loss. Like my body knows when the official weigh in is. haha!
  • It is soo strange!! I wonder why it does that?
  • oOo I want in too!! Starting weight- 209lbs 3/14 Please feel free to add me! :)
  • I'm in the same boat. =/ It sucks, but it'll come. I've noticed the people who can see it after 20 or so pounds are the ones who don't have much to lose. All we can do it keep pushing!! We'll notice it soon enough!
  • I curb some sweet cravings with sugar free gum. :)
  • You have no reason to be rude. I'm not at my goal yet, but there are others who have lost less than I have answering this question also. You like their answers though so you won't attack them. I have an opinion, and the right to voice it.
  • I never quit or caved before because I didn't have enough food. I quit because I was" too busy", "eating healthy was too expensive", or any other number of excuses in the book. It wasn't because I was hungry and couldn't live with the diet...It's because I was lazy and wasn't ready mentally to change my life. I don't think…
  • Wow! I'm so happy for you that you succeeded in losing weight the very first time you tried. Oh-except that in your profile you speak of yo-yo dieting...So I have to assume you've also tried and failed in the past... I didn't. Not due to my regime. Due to my willpower for the most part. I've overcome a lot of the reasons…
  • No worries-I don't take much personal on an internet forum. I just wish the people here would be willing to accept that there really is more than just one way to lose weight. I do trust both my doctor and trainer. My trainer is a registered dietitian and health consultant. I trust his knowledge, results, experience and…
  • I use a HRM at the gym and I track everything that goes in. Down to the sugar free cream in my coffee. Your way of losing isn't the only way.
  • That is your opinion, I respect and appreciate it. I've done my research and decided what is best for me. It's working for me. Also, my doctor and trainer know what is going in and coming out and they're both comfortable with it. If you'd like to come over and feel all my newly found muscles you're more than welcome to. ;)
  • Meh. I don't eat exercise calories back. My average daily net is around 500 and I'm losing just fine. I'm also gaining muscle just fine. Different strokes for different folks.
  • What's wrong with it if you're doing what you feel is right (exercising and eating healthy) and it's coming off quick?
  • They say because you need to net-calories in [minus] cal out [to equal] your calorie goal for the day. I don't buy it, but it's really worked for some people on here!
  • I've switched to sugar free flavored cream in my coffee. It's yummy with no sugars!
  • I know women who literally can't eat more than one banana or 10 grapes a week or they won't lose weight. And I know those who can eat all the fruit they want and still lose. When I started to cut down my sugar (total sugar-from everywhere-your body doesn't care where the sugar came from, it just knows it's sugar) I broke a…
  • I'm no where near my goal, so maybe I shouldn't be answering, but it's taken me 2 months to lose 24lbs.
  • So awesome!! Congrats!!
  • I've gotta lose 10 more lbs to be at 199. CAN'T wait!
  • AMAZING!!!
  • This is kind of what I'm thinking. He wants to start trying so bad, and I feel awful saying we have to wait (I really just typed weight-lol.) There is no health issue that I know of. I had one healthy pregnancy, no GD or any other problems, and after that I had one miscarriage, it was a molar pregnancy, nothing to do with…
  • I honestly wouldn't worry about it. As long as you keep doing what you're doing it'll continue to come off. It has to, right? I started @ 5' 3 233lbs, and lost consistantly for the first 4 weeks, then week 5-7 I kind of stalled. Hovered between the same 5lbs. Then I started losing again. My trainer told me that bodies tend…
  • Some things are sooooo decieving. It's craziness!!
  • Were you very active before? Could you be gaining some muscle from whatever cardio work (running, biking) you're doing?
  • I ended up in Urgent Care yesterday for this exact thing, and it was my blood sugar. Make sure you're getting enough sugar in your diet. The doc told me to keep a candy bar *GASP!* in my purse in case I start feeling like that again. I grabbed and downed a powerade (56g sugar) to spike my sugar back up and felt much better!
  • #3 is the closest.
  • I have thought about doing this, and talked to my trainer about it. He said he will let me know when he has an opening in the morning. :) Hopefully he will soon.
  • He goes down between 8-8:30, and the trainers stop at 8:30. So right now I can't but hopefully in the future I can figure out a different gym schedule. I think it'll get better once the snow and cold stop, and we can both be outside more. I just wondered if anyone else went through the same feelings.
  • That is what I will be doing in the warmer months!!! I can't wait for this snow to go away. I just keep telling myself that it's only another month or so until we'll be outside everyday and I won't need to be at the gym as much during the week. Today it's 12 degrees with about 3 feet of snow on the ground. Unfortunately,…
