  • Tough Mudder is AWESOME. I did one in Sept. 2012 and had a blast...I was not in as good of shape as I am now. I will do another one before too long. Enjoy it!!!!
  • You need to do what you feel is right for you. I have to be very careful on what i eat as it seems that i can gain weight just by looking at food. My wife, on the other hand, eats whatever she wants and never seems to gain an ounce. I try to eat paleo/primal but get sidetracked with the pasta's and other stuff she enjoys…

  • I was in Krav Maga....I loved it but I moved about a year ago and have not found any places here that offer it. I have considered starting my on place but I need to look way more into it. Do not worry about what you look like, just get in there and do it. It will help you get to your goal weight and you will be doing…
  • I do really like my UP. I am like you right now and waiting for Jawbone to send me a new UP. I have used the notify feature for idle time and I like the sleep function. I am sure there are other things that can be done and monitored with the UP but we shall see what come of it. I have been disappointed with the problems…
  • I think most of the folks on here hit it when they said, "It helps me get UP and move". That is the biggest thing it has done for me. It is surprising how little I was moving when I thought that I was actually moving. It is a constant reminder to me to stop sitting on my butt and move.
  • I would not think you would loose your teammates from the app. The data on the UP will be lost but when you connect up again, you will need to log in with your already setup account, so your data associated with your account should be fine. Please do not hold me to this but I would find it strange if you did loose all…
  • So I have put in a service ticket to Jawbone, and I heard back pretty quickly. I told them all the things i did to try to fix the UP. They are going to send me a new up but the onyx UP's are on back order and they do not know when they will be in. :(
  • This has to be the best topic yet....I have been lmao! Yes, we do and we have been married for over 21 years. She has passed her skills on to our daughter. They both out do me, it is so embarrassing, I am supposed to be the loud smelly one!!!
  • I have a cruiser....cause i know how stupid i can be and a sport bike would only get me in trouble. :)
  • Unfortunately, I do not think you can make them sync at will. It would be a great feature for them to add but not sure if they will do that. Your food should show up when they sync. It may not show what you ate but it should show you the amount of calories you have eaten. If anyone else knows of a way to force a sync…

  • hahaha....funny
  • what's love got to do with it...... j/k you are still the one. been married for 21 years this past May.
  • feel free to add me....
  • You are correct in that we do not know your relationship. The one thing I do know, is he is putting something else higher than you, When someone does that, it shows a lack of concern for the other person. I would worry that other things will be put higher than you later in the relationship. I have been married for 21 years…

  • I like the idea but I think on me, it is off. I will use the time line to get a better picture of when I go to bed and get up. I can then use that information to help myself get better sleep.
  • My first day with the UP, I had the same issue but since I have been syncing right before I go to bed (before midnight) and then again when I get up, helps sync MFP and UP.

  • I will usually sync about 4 times a day. The first is when i get up in the morning, after that, i sync when i leave work and then after my workout. I finally sync one last time before i go to bed. This will usually keep me good on my calorie total with MFP. hope this helps, Sean

  • hey Doug, thanks for teaming up...anyone else is welcome to add me... sstan03 at gmail dot com
  • My understanding of it, is that the MFP assumes a certain about of calories burned but the UP is using your steps during the day to calculate the calories burned. If you sync up multiple time during the day, you will see that the negative number should go to a positive number (thus giving you more calories to eat). you can…
  • hey all, I am enjoying my UP. I have had it a week now and am enjoying seeing my steps. If I do not hit 100%, I end up going for an evening walk to make sure I get that 100%. Feel free to ad me to you team as I know no one with one. sstan03 at gmail dot com. that is a zero. So how is everyone else doing with their UP?
