  • North Coast in Oregon and I'm a medical coder.
  • With all due respect to the hard working and smart people on this board, this is not the place to be asking about the effects of high cortisol on weight loss. It would be a good idea to look for a Cushing's Disease message board. The information that you find there would be invaluable and would shed a huge amount of light…
  • Well I did make it through the week and I do my labs and start my prednisone burst on Monday. I'm interested to see if it is going to make a difference. I'm still not allowed to take my ibuprofen until after I've been taking the prednisone a couple of days to see if it helps anything all by itself. I'll let everyone know…
  • I also take calcium and vitamin D and multivitamins (6 a day). I'll look into that juice. Thanks!
  • I take when I have a lupus flare coming on and it hasn't caused me to gain weight but my doctor told me to stay away from sugar and simple carbs while I was taking it so I did. I felt pretty good on it too. I only take it for five days at a time though.
  • I take vitamin D and vitamin B12 and they both help with my symptoms.....way more than any of the massive amounts of antidepressants I was on ever did.
  • You are my hero!! I don't know that I will ever want to give up my Taco Bell addiction but I really need to cut down on it. It's my go-to place when I don't have time to cook. What I used to get: 2 Steak nacho cheese chalupas -660 calories and aboutu 40 grams of fat or a steak grilled stuft burrito-850 calories and 36…
  • Mine is Kate Winslet, cuz I got some huge hips and breasts on me
  • I love Kinect Adventures. I love it so much I used it last night to keep the kids I was babysitting busy and they loved it too. They were also exhausted when their mom came to get them. I also play it with my husband. It's a great game.
  • You and me are soul mates lol! The shoes are the first thing that come off when I get home. That being said, I never work out with shoes on. I do my dancing without them and if I decide to workout on the beach, I take my shoes off as soon as I get to the sand. It works for me and keeps me from hurting from my hips to my…
  • Seaside, OR via Springfield, MO via Sonora, CA. I've been around lol
  • Seaside, OR :glasses:
  • When I do my Dance Central, I wear my heart rate monitor and I go until I reach 550 calories burned. Depending on the songs that I do, it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes.
  • I lost 30 lbs with Dance Central and Dance Central 2. Then my Xbox went into storage and I gained it all back :( Since I've settled into my new house, I have it back and I'm ready to go again!
  • Wow!! Way to go on the weight loss. I was doing pretty good myself until last April, when I had a MAJOR flare (the kind where you don't leave the couch for two months) and then I was diagnosed and since then I've been moving all over the country. Finally settled down though (after gaining back all of my lost weight *sigh*)…
  • I'm not really new but I don't think I've posted on here. I was diagnosed with Lupus in May of 2012 after 15 years of symptoms (and I'm only 29!). I was relieved to finally have some idea of what I was up against. My weight has always been a problem. I was full grown at 13 (38DDD and 36 inch hips, teeny waist) and when I…
  • My most humiliating experience was when I was 23 and I was sitting in the front lobby of an L.A. Weight loss office. A teenager stuck his head in the door and said "Good thing you're in here cuz you sure are fat!!" I just brushed it off but the girl who was sitting at the front desk ran after him and was chasing him down…
