I have a friend who started powerlifting and got really big and bulky-- he had 2 beers one night when we were hanging out and got black-out insane drunk. He is typically very mild mannered and shy, but that night he ran down the middle of the street ripping his shirt off before passing out on my tile floor.

I can't do tiny meals. I eat 1 or 2 bigger meals and try to leave room for a snack here and there. A cup of edamame or cottage cheese with almond butter fill me up if I still get hungry and are around 240 cals, so they don't mess me up.

I knew I was getting healthier when I started craving going for runs. One day, after working out a bit with a PT but not running at all for nearly a year (got halfway through C25K then quit in March 2014), I felt the urge to run...and I ran 2 miles easy! I started crying in the middle of my run!

Jeez, lighten up. Getting myself a new pair of pants to exercise in when I've worked my butt off and lost 5 inches from my hips doesn't mean I don't value the intrinsic reward of the hard work.

I have similar rewards for myself! I started at 209, when I hit 190 I got myself some neat work out clothes. When I hit 180 I got myself a charge hr. Over the next 40 pounds I'll use more athletic gear (sports bras, socks, yada yada) and at 130 I'm getting a Lisa Simpson tattoo :)

I'm a trichotillomaniac (impulse disorder where I pull my body hair out), but since exercising and eating better I've stopped almost completely. Which is crazy to me- just a few months ago I would spend literal HOURS a night pulling hair from my legs!

When I see somebody overweight, I often imagine they've been losing weight and I'm seeing them after they've lost 30 pounds or something and I go "hell yeah, get it" to myself. Edit, yes, much like xpecta
