This hasn't happened since I've been using MFP. But definitely in the past. I would be healthy often, and think about how to be healthy almost nonstop. But then when given an unhealthy opportunity, I really felt like I almost left my body while "it" gorged. Afterward, with mind and body connected again, I would realize how…

I "schedule" my rewards differently. I'm really diligent and consistent with my logging. So I know that as long as I'm logging, I'm closer to my goal, whatever that ultimately ends up being. So rather than set a certain weight to reward myself about, I celebrated 100 days of logging with a massage -- my second ever in my…

I hope it works out -- have a great time at the party!

I take this back. I would still go with the blue one, your boots and plain tights. (But between the red and burgundy, I would go red.)
-
Ha! Well, I do love the blue one, but with your boot plans, I would definitely go with the red option over burgundy -- with plain tights though since the red dress has a texture itself. The red is more festive, and though textured, it has less going on (since the burgundy has the built-in necklace). It won't compete with…

So I had never heard of a skater dress before. (I think maybe because I'm a little old for the length!) But I agree with some others that your proposed options are a bit work-like. Sticking with that website and skater dresses, I think I'd go with this one.…

I count everything.

Yes, if you use the recipes function AND you select 8 as the number of servings. (You can also take things to decimal places, so 7.5 servings for the sour cream as an ingredient.)

Very cool - congratulations!

Wow - congrats on that GREAT accomplishment!!

It is pretty low-cal, but I find that the more I have of that sort of thing, the more I want it. So it's not something I have in my rotation.

You can always recommit. I also find that this is a benefit to weighing every day. There's no dreading any one particular day. That seems like it could set me off track if I then skip that one day.
-
I think it makes sense that you could correlate daily weighing with diligent logging. I weigh in every day, and I find that it keeps me mindful of my goals. I don't let fluctuations bother me, but then I've realized that I don't see many real fluctuations. I'm really consistent with my routine (what I eat, exercising, etc.)

I've sent friend requests to the others who have posted so far. Anyone else is welcome to add me. (Please just include a note regarding this topic/where you found me.)

Great motivation! I agree with the others though about being realistic about your pace of loss. Don't get discouraged if you're not on track to reach your goal weight in six months. You'll get there!!

That seems like it would make an enormous smoothie. I normally do some protein powder, Tbsp of peanut butter, Tbsp of flax, soy/almond milk, and about a 1/4 banana. It's still 300+ calories but probably not as much sugar and maybe more filling due to the protein and fat. On the other hand, the volume of yours must give you…

You can also go to multiple decimal spots...so you could have recorded it as 2.51 servings.

To be even tougher, you can log net calories burned -- the amount you burned over what you would have burned anyway just by sitting on the couch (which MFP has already taken into account). My HRM number, especially when I look at net calories burned, just reminds me that you can't outrun a bad diet.

Rice and pea protein powder. Almond milk.

Good for you -- you look great!!

Metabolic Reset from Amazon.com. Tastes better than any other I've had. Includes fiber to help keep you full.

With the limited info we have, I agree with getting out of the house. You don't necessarily have to break up with your boyfriend, but at least move out on your own. Then insist that he moves out on his own too. This will give you a chance to see how he manages his own life without mom's help, and you'll have full control…

Great advice-- I didn't do this, and I regret it. (Especially with vanity sizing changing things all the time, it would be nice to know what I was at!)
-
I love it plain - or even better, with some toasted pecans on it. Simple: stab it with a fork several times, bake at 350 for an hour or so (until soft); then cut in half, scoop out seeds, scoop out flesh, and enjoy!

I honestly don't remember any issues with eating after my wisdom teeth were pulled (just two at once--that's all I had!). I was in college, and actually went out to the bars that same night...of course, that was just for liquid nourishment. Ah, the good ol' days. A few weeks ago, I had a biopsy of my cheek and that hurt…

Huge difference! You just don't see it because you look at it every day. Great work!

I'm seeing Chinese takeout and a Graze box. Just regular, real food from the grocery store may be more economical.

Congratulations! I have also reset my goal weight a few times. We'll see where we end up...
