As a 36 yr old currently doing a job that is completely out of necessity and unfulfilling, I thought of being a personal trainer never used to cross my mind, but it seems like a wonderful career (up until now I've been in dreaded retail and currently run a private dayhome). We have a local college that offers a 2 year…

Lol. That's okay. I run a dayhome currently and make no money as it is!!!

Oh, there is SO much I have given up. Pop was first to go (except with the very occasional drink). I have given up chicken wings and nachos (which also included a regular social engagement with my bf); Tim's ice caps, french fries, my Starbucks has decreased from 5/week down to maybe 1; I no long eat am McD's, Wendy's,…

I've got my two playlists: dance tracks and my Bollywood dance tracks. Must have a good fast beat for me!

lol! I don't even think I could handle P90X from what I've heard. Actually I have invited him to join me in my workout vids. He has attempted twice, and I have to give him credit for trying.

I have this sitting in my pantry and had no idea what to do with it! Bumping for future recipies!

You look great (though, to be honest you are very photogenic and I even thought the before pics were super cute!) Keep up the great work!!!!

Because it's too late to edit my post.... My husband and I have talked. Exhaustively. At home, in therapy. I have told him several times not to bring stuff into the house, and even though I agree that ultimately we are responsible for what we put in our mouths, even the strongest willed individual can't resist their…

Thanks ladyhawk00. I wouldn't say losing that much weight that fast is healthy either. I've lost an average of 1 1/4 lbs weekly over the last year and I'm fine to keep it that way until I reach my goal (though I have been averaging more like 2.5 lbs the last month and a half) I wondered how much exercising was too much. I…

Honestly, this whole topic freaks me out a bit. After reading another thread the other day I asked my trainer what his take was. Of course it was the same as yours. You must maintain a healthy net calorie intake at the end of the day in order to sustain your body after workout and not undereat. I find myself often working…

Hi all! I love having new friends on here to help keep me going! I'm a mother of two young boys (3 & 6) so I know how hard it is to find "me" time, but I keep chugging along slowly. I've had some substantial weight loss to date, so if anyone needs help or support, I'm totally there! It's great to be able to feed of each…

Wow Amy, that is amazing! I love reading success stories on here... it keeps me motivated to reach my final goal! You look outrageously gorgeous plus I LOVE your clothes Best wishes!
-
Oh my gosh, you look AMAZING! I would have never thought to do a sexy photo shoot, but now I am! Well done!!!

My closet keeps getting smaller and smaller (I refuse to keep clothes that no longer fit me!) and I can finally shop in normal clothing stores! I no longer dread sitting in an airplane seat. I am addicted to working out! I can't stand the thought of eating a big mac. I feel way more confident. So many things!

yum! bumping for later. Can't wait to try some of these!

Hi hon! There's a lot of advice out there, and I can totally relate to the yo-yo diet thing, but truth be told, I always knew I needed to lose weight but always had some excuse why it was never going to happen for me. Then I ended up going to see a therapist where we had a look at the reasons I ate. A lot of times, people…

Thank you all so very much!!!

I think I figured out the pics: Here's the before ones (eeps! looking at them now makes me cringe!) Before you said wtf?! this was at a retro 80's party this one was taken today: close up before: close up today: Woah! Those are some big pictures! Sorry - I figure im happy just to have learned how to post them in the first…
