Figured out I need to do three miles/day this week to meet my goal. Got in almost two today which is normally a rest day for me so think I'm off to a good start!

Fell behind a bit this week. Oh well, will do what I can do before the end of March

Finally past the halfway mark!

Way to go!

I started just above 260. I do about 45 mins of cardio a day. I also have MFP set to lose one pound a week and it has me eating 1770 calories. I also eat back about 2/3 of my exercise calories. I am losing about 2lbs/week so far on average. I think you should use MFP or other tools mentioned here to re-look at your calorie…

Pushing the halfway point!

I just finished week three. When I was on the treadmill I started by walking at 3 and running at 5 but i was really struggling. It took me 12 (!) tries to complete W1D1 - the first time I could only do three running intervals. I kept working at it, doing every other running interval and walking every other one a few times…

Figured out that I'm on pace to complete 48 miles so I need to pick up the pace a bit!

Congrats! I look forward to getting there eventually!

Suggested to the kids that we go for a walk today BECAUSE of this thread. Thanks! The 1.33 mile walk through the woods was great.

That's great! I just finished week two and I'm feeling pretty good too. Looking forward to week three.

2 miles today

Sounds great!

Thanks all. I was unable to complete W2D1 at my previous pace (3 walk/5 run). Tried again tonight at 2.5 walk/4.4 run and was able to do it, still with a .5 incline. I will probably speed up the walk a bit for day 2

Have you checked to see if they put their nutrition info online? I work at a college and can check online to see what they are serving each day and then I can get the nutrition info for each recipe. If your school doesn't offer that you could ask if they would.

I just finished W1D3. I've been walking at 3mph and running at 5 with a .5 incline I kept reading to take the pace down if you are struggling - well I THOUGHT that I was already going slow. After all 5mph was the slowest running pace i could find in MFP and everyone at my gym seemed to be going faster! So it took me quite…

Yes, that is another piece of advice I picked up - get good shoes. I went to the local specialty store and bought some super comfortable running shoes and that really made a difference in my feet and my knees. I'm with you on the treadmill - we've had windchill below 0 for the past week or so. I had also read to use a…

If it makes you feel any better, it took me 12 tries to complete week one day one - I just could NOT run even at a slow pace for eight non-consecutive minutes I'm so embarrassed to write that but I feel great that I finally completed day one and then day two and am scheduled for day three tomorrow. While I felt tired and…

Sorry. I tried to format it to make it read a bit better but that format didn't post. This is my first topic posted - sorry to annoy. I've only been on here three weeks and I've done OK eating out at places where I can find info online. I'm still learning how to make good choices when I don't have that info and thought…

When I started I realized my home scale was completely inaccurate. My gym has a scale so I use that now. Works great to get me to the gym as I want to see my progress. I weigh in before my workout and if I've lost I feel great and want to keep going with a good workout. If I haven't lost I figure a good workout will help.…

Sounds great! Can't wait to try it.

This looks great. Thanks for the pics. I'm going to have to try this.

I've been making this one a few times a week: 1 medium banana 4oz OJ 3/4 cup frozen pineapple 4oz Nonfat Vanilla Greek Yogurt ice as needed All together it comes to 318 calories but I split it 75/25 with my kids so my portion is 238 calories. I enjoy this one but am looking for some new ideas too.
