Hello! I'm Erica and I'm 21. I'm a Psych student at Kent State University studying Cognition and Neuroscience. I have at least 60 pounds to go until I reach my goal! This is why you shouldn't eat it everyday. If it's extra calories only once in a while, it shouldn't affect anything. It doesn't for me. But I usually ask for 'only a little' of the rice and beans but count it as the full serving and such. I think this topic is a pretty moot point really.

I usually just burn however much I want. I think that's just MFP's suggestion to reach your goal, but I don't think it matters too much personally. I usually burn at least 1000 more calories a week than it suggests, sometimes more. And I only work out 5 days a week lately. It's all up to you, I'd say.

My measurements all dropped by about an inch this morning, except for my bust, my hips (which somehow grew, I suspect because of TOTM?) and my triceps.
