Congrats! That actually sounds delicious right now. Unfortunately, I have no bacon at my house :(

Desperate Measures - Mariana's Trench This is one of those songs that pumps me up when I'm running!

I'm able to wear leggings without feeling ashamed! Although the number on the scale has stayed the same, I also have a bit of definition in my abdomen as well as a slimmer appearance! So happy!

Hey, my name is Erica, age 21. I'm here to lose between 50 and 60 pounds, a little hire than the 3 who have posted so far, but still good haha. I've been successful, but mostly in the short term. I've been at a plateau for a few days though, hopefully that will all change by morning! I'd be happy to have more friends! :)

By antsy I mean I get all jittering and I feel like I can't get anything done cause all I'm thinking about is working out more. I get very paranoid and feel like I'm going to fail if I don't work out more sometimes. I think I'm just obsessive though. I personally like working out, but it's just starting the workout that's…

I think favorites very a lot from person to person. For example, I hated the cookies and cream one when I tried it but loved the cookie dough and the double chocolate one. I wasn't a big fan of the brownie one either, or the apple pie. I just got 3 new flavors to try today though: cinnamon bun, white chocolate raspberry,…

I am as well. And I've found that a lot of the stuff in the database is inaccurate or does not agree with the labels sitting in front of me. It also drives me nuts when I can't find something in the database. The other day I went to a restaurant and every other item on the restaurant's menu was in there except the one I…

Oh really? I shall look into that :) Thank you, kind poster! ^.^

Yes, to some of us. They go for 35 bucks for a box of 12 where I live. It's ridiculous. However, I've only ever gone to buy some once, and the only flavor out of the four I chose that I LOVED was the cookie dough one (because when cold, it tastes like real cookie dough, haha). I'd personally only ever buy them if super…

Add me! I'm usually pretty active on here and I log in every day!

LOL I didn't know that about "walking the dog" haha. The one day I was curious and I searched sex as a cardio activity and couldn't find it. Needless to say, I was sad hahah

Me too, but only if they are organic.

I usually just relax. If I want to go over, I throw in a tiny bit more of a work out if I can. However, I'm one of those lucky ones that usually gets full after eating only about 1300 calories a day, even with exercise, so I usually actually have to force myself to eat at least a bit more (since so many people on this site…

Amazed that I only noticed one other person mention Panera. I'm not much a fan of fastfood, but I usually go for Chipotle, Panera, or Subway (simply because I work there and it's free, hah). I like that I can know how many calories are in my food 'exactly'. It really freaks me out if I don't know for sure.
-
Yes, but I'm also never sure quite how much I'm actually burning. That's why on days I exercise, I let myself go over my goal a bit, just not nearly as much as it tells me to. I'm going to continue this way until I can afford a HRM or something that can be more reliable for measuring my burns.
-
That's funny because people on these messaging boards keep telling me I need to eat back at least half of my calories burned, but I greatly disagree. I burned them for a reason.
-
I do measure my food, but I only use measuring cups as my scale is broken :( I've been doing the whole measuring thing for a quite a while now though so I'm pretty good at eyeballing with my more common foods. And I hope I am gaining muscle but I still hope I start losing again soon. I've been trying really hard to eat…

I don't understand what resetting my calorie goal to 1.5 is going to do exactly except give me more calories that I can eat. I can still be patient with it set to 2 pounds a week, especially since it doesn't seem to be working for me right now anyway (however, I do notice that my clothes are a bit looser since I work out…

This confuses me also. I always thought as long as I ate at least about 1250 I'd be fine but some people on here tell me I don't eat enough. I look forward to hearing people's answers to this as well.
-
lol. yes.
-
If it was only one day, I'm sure you'll be perfectly fine! I fell off the wagon on Friday and Saturday, no exercise or anything, alcohol was even involved, and I still didn't gain! I'm sure you'll be fine, especially since you've been doing so well for an entire month!
-
Pretty much! Haha! I do measure and record all of my food and everything I consume 97% of the time. I've also been forcing myself to eat about 1300 calories most days since I do exercise, but I find it very difficult to eat back most of my calories. I'm usually not hungry enough to do that unless I start binging on bad…

No. It would not even be sustainable for the month that you attempted it. It would also be quite unhealthy. Losing 17 pounds in a month is not a realistic goal. With the amount you want to lose, 8 would be reasonable. MFP tends to overestimate exercise calories. Do you understand that the calorie goal that MFP has set for…

Yeah, I know what you're saying. I've had problems in the past losing weight unhealthily so I'm trying to do it the healthiest way possible this time. I guess patience is key though, when you do it healthily ahah

I know, which means I'd need to create a deficit. I think my setting is currently at lightly active because I work at Subway, so I usually walk about 4 to 6 thousand steps in a shift, not much at all. At this weight, creating that deficit might be kind of easy, just because I burn a lot of calories still, but as I lose…

Yes, bananas are usually the one fruit I ALWAYS have at home haha. I just don't right now, just got paid though so going to the grocery store asap! :)
-
My diet is usually a mix of fresh fruit and veggies and such, but I've run out of money until next paycheck so I was left with my quick snacks pretty much. These are usually what I bring to work to avoid eating the food there as they're lower calorie and keep me feeling fuller longer. Also, I don't really have a fridge to…

Oh I know it does, but I was just thinking about it. I was never intending to cut my water intake, I don't think that'd be possible, especially on days I work out.
