Black beans and brown rice are carbs, but they are better carbs than say white bread, white rice or sugar. They have more fiber and protein, so they are a really good choice to grab for your carbs.

Holy moley, girl! You look FANTASTIC! You can tell so much in your face and the profile shot!! Wow. Way to go. Keep it up!!

I'm in!! 3500 calories used to be my weekly goal and I have dropped off on my workouts lately, so this will help me kick it back up!
-
I shoot for at least an hour, but I prefer about 70 minutes no less than 2x per week, but I shoot for 4-5x per week.
-
Great job! Keep up the good work!

Sounds bogus to me.

Write down how you feel and if you ever have the urge to do this again, read your own advice to yourself. I'm sure you don't want to feel this way again, so write it down and move on. It's just one day. Tomorrow is a new day!

Use Turkey Pepperoni!!! It's delicious and like 70% fewer calories. I can't tell a difference.

That's what I'm having for dinner! I would stick to a 6" sub because there is SO much sodium in the bread. I get 6" oven roasted chicken on wheat (it's the lowest cal bread), no cheese (save 50 or so calories), lettuce, tomato, green pepper, black olive and sweet onion sauce. The sweet onion sauce adds about 40 calories…

Awesome. Thanks for your help everyone! We're having fish tonight... we'll see how it goes!

Absolutely eat your workout calories!! They figure out your calorie limit assuming that you are not working out, so if you are, you've burned more calories than expected. I tend to leave about 250-500 calories uneaten, unless I'm just really hungry that day. By all means, if it will help you to stay on track by eating…

Thank you for asking this question. This is awesome motivation for me. I can't wear 3" heels for more than 20 minutes at a time and there is no WAY I'd be able to wear a stilleto... :( So this is even MORE motivation to get healthy!!

Way to go!! We have very similar goals! I want to be down to about 140-150 (or at least as close as I can get) by my 25th birthday on March 1st! You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work! You look AWESOME.

We have challenged ourselves to lose 20 lbs in 20 weeks. We're on week 12, so we have 8 weeks left!

Week 12 is up!

Wow! Great job!

Hey! I've been super busy this week because today was my first Med School exam (which I passed, woo hoo!!)! So I haven't weighed in in over a week! I'll catch up on Monday!

Way to go!!! You look AWESOME!

I make homemade pizza on pitas with low fat cheese and turkey pepperoni. I don't miss take out pizza at all. Each one is less than 275 calories and it's the size of a personal pan pizza. Cover it in veggies to make it even more filling with not many added calories.
-
Way to go!! That is such a HUGE accomplishment!!! Congratulations! Keep up the hard work!
-
Of course that constitutes a success, are you kidding??? I count one pound as a success. Small changes will turn into big ones when you do them long enough. Great job! Keep going!

I've lost a car tire AND a guinea pig!

Awesome job, everyone! Keep up the good work!
