It is VERY easy. Just measure it out and stuff it in the pocket! Prep time was 5 minutes while the oven heats up. I'm craving one as we speak. I can't even tell you how good it was. It knocked my socks off.

That doesn't sound like much fun...boo! Tonight I'm going to a kickboxing class (more like a kick-your-butt class!!) at 24 Hour Fitness. Then I'm taking the dogs for a 15 min. jog; it helps me train for my 5K, which is 6 weeks away, and it helps drain their energy!! :smile:

Yeah, I usually shoot for 5-6 days of 60 mins each, but I thought I'd keep it lower to motivate others that may exercise less. Great job this week! Almost 4 lbs...that's fantastic!

I'm up 0.4 lbs from last Monday, but that's a great improvement from + 2.2lbs of water weight that I was struggling with this week. Hope everyone has a great week. Get outside and exercise!

Went to my best friend's bachelorette party last night and I found the solution to water retention. Alcohol is a natural diuretic.... Had a maintenance day yesterday, but I woke up this morning (lost 1.8 lbs in 24 hours) and am excited for this week! Weigh in tomorrow!!

I'm getting annoyed by this water weight thing. +2.2 lbs in 2 days! I know it doesn't make sense to be frustrated....but it's annoying that it's something I can't control. So today's goal is to do the best I can, work out HARD tonight and stop caring about the number on the scale. As long as I stick at or under my calories…

I heard that you're supposed to get half your body weight in fluid oz. I'm 215, so I need about 108 oz. It changes A LOT depending on your weight, which makes sense. Someone who's 215lbs eats more calories than someone who's 130 lbs...so it seems to make sense that it would be different for water too!

Use a Heart Rate Monitor. I got mine from a sporting goods store. They run around $100 for the basic kind. If you get a Polar HRM, the machines at the gym will pick up the signal and display it on the machine. Trust me. $100 is SO worth it. Then you don't have to guess at how many calories you're burning. Yep; that's what I'm doing. I'll just have to cut my sodium more and drink more water...I got 14 glasses yesterday!! I practically floated away! But that's 112oz. and I'm supposed to get 108oz. Crazy!

Any ideas of how to get rid of retained water?? I've gain over 2lbs in the past two days; I know it's water, because I've worked out hard (over 650 calories each work out) and I was under my calories both days! I also gained 1/2" in my bust and waist measurements from last week. Uggh. I hate bloating.

When I realized that the person I saw in the mirror was NOT who I felt like I was. It's pretty surreal to feel like you weigh ~140lbs and then you look in the mirror and realize you actually weight 75lbs MORE!! I just want the "me" in my head to be the me that everyone else sees!

I felt AWESOME during my workout tonight...but I'd feel even more awesome if I was retaining water like crazy! How is everyone else today?

Exercise, exercise, exercise. I used to get 60 minutes/week (if that!). Now I'm diligent to get 60 mins 5-6 times/week. I also wear my heart rate monitor and shoot for 600-800 calories burned (which takes a lot more effort than I want to give sometimes). Watching my calories increase throughout the hour is very motivating.…

I have taken Meridia 10mg daily for the past two months. After the first 2 weeks, I lost about 3-5 lbs, and then the weight loss pretty much halted. My weight didn't change (up or down) for 3 weeks. Can't wait for Monday! After resisting some serious temptation yesterday, I'm feeling even better, stronger...and losing 1 pound since my Tuesday weigh-in doesn't hurt. :smile: I have a wedding to go to tonight (I will allow myself one small slice of cake...what's a wedding without cake?)...so I'm gonna burn some calories…

The best part was, the fruit went over the best! We all devoured it! Kiwi, blackberries, strawberries, cantaloupe, grapes...I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I had my turkey sandwich (instead of part of the Chili's Party Platter of DOOM) and a huge serving of fruit...all only 100-150 calories. So much better than…
