• I was on it for Migraines - MIRACLE DRUG, I must say. For the first month (until I adjusted to the side effects), I noticed a sharp decrease in my appetite. I had to close my eyes and hold my breath and just force myself to eat. Never amounted to any weight loss though. I've been off of it for about a month or two.…
• I agree. The smallest I can ever remember being is a 14. At size 10, you have a lotttttttttt of people that want to be like you!
• OoOoOoOo that's what I'm doing wrong!
• If it's that simple, why have I only lost 10 pounds since February when I'm eating 500-800 calories less than my burn everyday? Seriously, I'd really like to know why I'm not losing the weight. This is very frustrating.
• Marinate in your favorite sauce. I think italian dressing works if you don't have a certain sauce you like. Cook on the grill for 5 minutes each side. We buy chicken tenderloins in bulk at Costco. I vacuum seal them with our favorite sauce (Speedies marinate from Binghamton, NY) and toss into the deep freeze. Then we just…
• I've got a pocketful a pocketful of sunshine.... Good luck getting that out of your head.
• You were smiling more in February!!! That's what I notice the most. Second is the tats! Love the tats!
• For me it's the few days beforehand, and maybe the first day or two of "The Visit." I try to eat protein since it's more filling. It helps me a great deal to keep some grilled marinaded chicken breasts in the fridge. There's no thought or time required, just reach in and grab a piece. Instant gratification. :D
• What? This is never good advice! And besides, sex is a great way to burn calories. Have more sex. It's the one exercise regimen that most men can stick to. And your relationship will probably benefit from it. win/win
• Declaring it a disease might help some people. Those that are depressed and feeling worthless might find some solace in the disease classification. It could actually help them tackle it, if they view diseases as being something they can overcome. It makes it almost tangible rather than, "oh, I'm just a worthless blah blah…
• Drop a few 100 pounds by getting a divorce. It does amazing things for your self esteem. :)
• I can't run shirtless without the back hair, so I want to say no. But gender biases aside... Wouldn't it tickle?
•
I help people all the time if they are doing something that will cause injury. Get over yourself.
As someone who never gets help from anyone, even when my car is broken down in the middle of the road, this ^^^ is my favorite response.
• I didn't think to enter "Fitness" as a station. I have one that's just "Workout", but it plays a lot of gangster music with the N-word and B-word. I doesn't use it. My regular upbeat channel is Pink, and I think I've given a Thumb's Down to all her slow songs. Lately I've been renting upbeat cds from the library and making…
• Hahahaha. Gotta love honesty!! Guys that I know love confidence more than anything. It's what you project that makes you beautiful. Changing the way you look for a guy, that's ugly. If you're on this site, be here for yourself.
• tea, crystal light (or similar store-brand sugar free drinks). It's not ideal, but better than the alternatives.
• I didn't see any nitrates in your diary. Possibly a sensitivity to the bell pepper or chocolate. But most likely dehydration, especially if you walked in the heat. Only you can really know if you drank enough water.
• My boyfriend's gut shrinks by a half-basketball when he goes low carb. I feel a lot slimmer, too, when I successfully eat low-carb.
• I have no experience with zumba, but I know that our local parks and recreation center offers zumba classes for next-to-nothing. If you decide to try classes, check your local community center. If you want to try a dvd, check your local library!!! There's so much there than just books!
• There's a well-kept secret in town! Some of the Parks & Recreation centers have small fitness centers. They're a lot more affordable than the well-known gyms. The one near my house is like $3 for a day, $15 for a month, or $115 for a year. Something like that, anyways. I noticed that the price varies at different locations…
• Excellent parenting skills! I wish I had that. I have the best of intentions with my kids but it doesn't always come out right. And then there's the ex on the other side, undoing everything I try to do. Ugh! I'm actually teaching my daughters that they don't have to be mothers. So many of us have kids because we're…
• I eat eggs - the perfect protein. And when I'm tired of eggs, I have fried eggs. When i can't stand anymore eggs, I have someone else cook the eggs because they always taste a little different. My cholesterol is in the normal range and better than it's ever been. :)
• It's in a pop tart so it's probably not real peanut butter. Now I'm thinking about Boob Tarts. MmMMmM
• I'm trying to do high-protein, low-carb. From what I've read, if you really overdo it, regularly, for a long time, it can be hard on your kidneys if you don't also drink a lot of water. Otherwise, there's no harm. If you are high in protein and low in everything else, you might have the side effect of weight loss. *giggle*…
• Oh, ok. It looked like my buddy, Juddding, had a boob question. Here, let me reply to this so we have a woman as the last to respond. Oh, and they're coming out with pnut butter chocolate pop tarts. yeah, freaking pnut butter cups in the form of a BREAKFAST pastry. I call shenanigans!
• Holy smokes that's amazing!!! I've fiddled with c25k off and on since February. I keep hurting myself by trying to run an entire interval so I haven't been able to get past day 1!!! So what I was going to tell you is: Don't push yourself into an injury!!!!! Like someone else said, just follow the program!! Leg/foot…
• Ok, I really feel like a freak now. My average intake for the last month is 1650 calories in, with a deficit of 1250 per day. I really kicked up my exercise this month. That should have produced a 10 pound loss (35k calories over 4 weeks). My weight has fluctuated over 4 weeks for a net loss of 2 pounds. Since I got the…
• ^^^ Hahahaha. Loved this! Ok, free advice from a fat chick: Go with a friend! I always have my boyfriend show me how to use unfamiliar machines, or I ask him to "adjust this one for me." It makes him feel useful, and it shows people that fat girls are awesome enough to have friends. But, as everyone else said, no one else…
• OMG I found your posts and progress pics. Congrats!!! I'd LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE to look like you do right now! Be confident and kick *kitten*!
• It could also be what you're posting. I don't know what you've previously posted and I don't mean for this to sound mean so please don't take it that way..... but in your picture, you look like you might weigh a little over 100 pounds. Your progress bar indicates you weigh around 160. This might give people the impression…
