I started Tuesday and did workout 2 today. I am thinking of a tu/th/sa schedule.

Great results everyone!

circuit training? Pick a few exercises (5 or so) and do each for 5-10 reps back to back, rest a bit and then repeat 3-7 times.

It does seem pretty high in my book too. For example, I did intervals on the recumbent bike over the weekend. I did 30 seconds of fast, and 60 minutes of rest for about 20 minutes with 5 min on either end for a warm up. Fast was 18-23 mph. Heart rate hit 160s then, and averaged 138 or so for the whole workout. I am heavier…

It also depends too on your shape and how you carry your weight. Personally? I have bony wrists and hands (and ankles), so weight gain/loss has no discernible impact at all on ring size or wrist size. My sister (who is a similar size and weight) does notice a difference with weight changes. We are just built differently.…

I like this site even more: http://www.mybodygallery.com/ Real people submit their photo, height, weight and size! **That model wasn't really like me at all at my current weight!

I upped my overhead press to 50# (5 sets of 5). And I did hit the stairs. There is a park/staircase nearby. It has about 110 steps. I walked up and down 10 times! Not long ago, I would been done at 5. My next goal is to hit 12 times. And later....switch some of the walks to runs.

I hear that these things do happen for many people. Fingers crossed. :)

I also find I have hunger waves. If it feels like a hungry week, I just eat a bit more. Typically an extra 100-200 calories does the trick. You also might find it helpful to eat more often. Splitting your meals up into 2 parts. Eat the same food, but have courses. I.e. take 15 minutes to eat your veggies, take a break,…

I finally did day 1. I am using the iphone app. Silly me, I didn't take my phone off silent mode and I missed my first queue for the 1st run. I figure it out and decided to tack on another minute during cool down. I live in a hilly neighborhood, so I extended my warmup to start in a flatter zone. Of course, it seemed like…

I thought that it was the exclusive domain of fitness models, Kim Kardashian, and aspiring King models. I guess it is for normal people too.

Retail, any form. Teacher/lecturer.

Great job! Can't wait to get there too. :) My goal on the other hand is solidly in the overweight BMI. :)

That's inaccurate. Their job is to cultivate their brand. Appearances, product placements, product development, PR strategy etc. They may not have worked for initial fame, but they do work hard to keep it. It just appears easy compared to the average desk jockey.

You are likely not eating enough. 1300 calories with all of that activity? You are likely burning like 600 calories a day.
-
Do you have iphoto or another slideshow app? You can make a video easily using transitions. I haven't tried to make an animated gif, but it should be an exportable option.

I was thinking the same thing. And her posture improved.

Eat slower and practice mindful eating Eat plenty of fiber Stay hydrated **I find when I exercise intensely, I am less hungry.

Now that she is part of Kimye, her clothing isn't as fun any more. She had way better outfits before she went on the current black and white kick! I also think the Kardashian Klan pretty much represents the American dream: rich and famous with no discernible talent. (But they did pull themselves up by the bootstraps and…

Your trainer doesn't sound every good, to be honest.

I hate to be the voice of dissent, but your weight is pretty low for your height right now. You might notice a difference with those 10 pounds, but probably not. On the up note, having round cheeks keeps you looking younger as you get older. Your face might also shift with age. Mine has gotten a bit less round with age,…

Why don't you try 100 pushups or 200 squats. You'll see progress daily because you'll keep upping the number you do.
-
My goal is about 195. A little less than 20 pounds to go for me. I think 20 pounds is pretty optimistic based on my current patterns.

Somewhere between "normal" and bikini for me. But I have more muscles, so I would look bigger.

If your thyroid meds are making you tired you are on the wrong dose. You should feel a dose of energy. But it also takes a few months to get things regulated. Or more. I am on year 3 with waves of energy and symptoms. PLease get checked out. You should be feeling better when starting your meds.

This recipe is super easy and really yummy: http://www.culinate.com/books/collections/all_books/5+Spices*2C+50+Dishes/a_simple_cabbage_stir-fry I also make all kinds of variations of "slaw" shredded cabbage with red wine vinegar, sliced jalepenos and olive oil shredded cabbage, carrots, bell peppers with a soy-rice…

I don't know, that sounds pretty unmaintainable to me. Can you pick a weight loss and maintenance plan that make sense for the long haul?
-
These are really valid concerns. But the first question is, what is the underlying issue for your weight gain (and maintaining). For many people there is a deeper emotional issue. For some people (and this sounds like it is true in your case), extra weight is protective. IT protects you from getting more attention, forming…
