No food is inherently bad. Check the nutritional information. One will be better suited to fit into your macros than the other.

Well, you didn't really give people much information to work with. a. what type of food do you usually eat? is it low carb, does it need to be with or without something, what is the calorie range you are working with b. do you need to eat it cold or do you have ways to heat it up, how long will it pass since defrosting and…

Is there an option of buying lunch there? you could buy meat and bring veggies with you or you could eat a big meal before work, then get a smaller snack (eggs, cheese, seeds (pumpkin, sunflower)) during work and eat a bigger meal once you get home?

Sometimes you just need a break to realize something needs to change. Maybe you were being a bit too strict with yourself. Why not try pre-logging your day in a way that incorporates that ice cream at the end of your day? Maybe also try to include whatever it was that you ate most in these last few days. If you incorporate…

Take all the junk food in the house to the sleepover, and don't buy any more. Enjoy the weekend in moderation as much as possible and start fresh from Monday. Can you take a veggie platter or sth similar to the sleepover? If all the food there is junkfood everyone might use some veggies (as in,other people might enjoy them…

Pre-made meal plans are always hit-and-miss since different people like different things, have different budgets etc. Here is what you can do: Figure out your daily calories. Either go the TDEE route (so every day is the same number), or the 'eating back exercise calories' that is MFP standard. Choose your macro ratios…

Search for seated exercises. You can add weights as you progress.

You definitely need to warm up before stretching. Make sure that everything is really warmed up. I find that my hips take a while, that is why I do my stretching at the end of my gym time, and even then it's not always as good as I want it to be. In any case, take it slow, don't force anything, and remember to breathe :-)

I'm not a supertaster so I have no idea what they taste like to you, but the vegetables you listed are all relatively sweet. Maybe try making the carrots yourself, try sweet potatoes baked in the oven, I don't think there is anything wrong with corn, even if it has butter on it, maybe try squash/pumpkins, green peas.…

What I've realized is, the image I see in the mirror is never going to correspond to what I see in my head. It didn't when I was heavier, it doesn't now. My mind just has a different idea of how I'm built :-) What I do focus on is sticking to my schedule (so, log every day, go to every gym practice I have scheduled) and…

You can also use it instead of pasta if you are making lasagna. Maybe steam it lightly beforehand so the leaves are softer.
-
My suggestion would be to work out a schedule that fits with your other obligations, just make it like one of your other assignments. However, make sure you incorporate days that allow your body some rest

It all depends on the amount of fat in the particular area, and how much of it goes away. I only got a tattoo after I lost the first 30kg, but it hasn't changed for the next 20kg. It is on my thigh though, and that part has always been relatively muscular.

My bf said he didn't recognize it was me in the kitchen, thought it was someone else. I also went to a second hand shop, tried out a pair of trousers. They were too small (and the wrong cut), but I noticed that my legs looked amazing, and it's starting to look like I have a butt :-D

Whatever you decide to do, if you switch exercise and homework i.e. if you exercise earlier in the day, it is less likely that your neighbours will notice it and/or complain, since there is more background noise during that time - everyone is coming home, making dinner, etc. as opposed to later in the day when people are…

It was a work colleague's birthday yesterday so she brought food to our shift today. I joined the celebration, ate a couple of slices of meat (I had already eaten lunch, that's what I could fit without going drastically over my macros). She packed some cookies for me. They looked delicious, but I'm low carb due to insulin…

Eh, my country seems to be behind the times then (I'm not surprised). I wish you good luck in your efforts.

How closely was the person in question paying attention to their carbohydrate intake? Because they could have lost the weight while still eating things that negatively affect blood sugar levels. I think the recommendation is to keep them under 200 a day? Maybe try to get them lower than that? And definitely space them out…

Lets switch mothers, my doesn't buy me anything :-) I do know the feeling, every other time that I decided I would go on a "diet" it would coincide with my father making something that I absolutely adore. And I would eat way too much of it and the diet would stop right there. This time though I'm buying my own food,…

What is it about vegetables that you don't like? Because they can range from mushy to crunchy, and from sweet to somewhat bitter in taste, and I doubt you can hate every single variation. If you are willing to experiment, you could try "hiding" them with things you do like, in sauces, or made into burgers, stuff like that.

OK, I'm no expert in maintaining, I'm still trying to lose weight, but this I do know: there is no one, foolproof, perfect solution. We are all different, and there are going to be nuances in our approaches that will work and that won't work. Two, even if you combined all available advice and created a "perfect" plan, what…

It is not insignificant, you are making progress and that's great. Congratulations!

Adding another vote to just eat cake, it's your birthday. Go for something that will really make you happy, not some sugar-free concoction. You could suggest though that she makes the cake in a muffin pan. That way you can portion it out better (and you can freeze if there is something left for an occasional treat, or give…

Take a day to restart the process. First enter your new weight into either MFP or a TDEE calculator and figure out your new calorie limit. Then take a look at your diary. Are you eating more than that? What can you do to fix it? What can you leave out or eat less of to get you under your daily limit. Plan a couple of days…

Butter, mayo, cheese, nuts, sunflower seeds, cooking cream, pork, beef They are all rather calorie dense, so a small amount has a lot of calories (for a relative value of 'a lot' as compared to veggies)

First off, one weekend will not ruin your progress, maybe just slow it down. Expect that you will weigh more when you get back, but at least part of it is water. Eat as close to what you usually eat in terms of size and type of food when not at the weddding itself, try to eat a sensible portion at the wedding. For every…

I'm pretty sure you can be without a period for longer -what about people who are on depoor have and IUDs? The problem with not having a period because of PCOS ir similar is that your uterine lining will build up and that can cause problems. And now that the OP has started having periods again they will be heavier until…

I mostly eat the same, or similar things. Breakfast is eggs with something like mustard,or cream, to cover the taste. Snack is peanuts most often, somethimes a bit of chocolate with my coffee. Lunch is meat with a bit of fresh veggies. I cook a big pan of it, then portion and freeze, so I can have w or 3 variants of the…

I just wanted to say that you can still have chocolate...a cube is 3-4 g of carbs if you choose a chocolate with high % of cocoa. Let it dissolve slowly in your mouth, though, that way you get a more lasting effect. And I find I don't need more than a cube or 2 a day, and I can fit it in my macros (I'm at40g carbs though)

First off, can I offer a (friendly, and hopefully not creepy) hug? It is hard when it seems like everything is stacking up against you. I would suggest trying to find a doctor that is willing to treat your depression, whether you choose to take medication or just have therapy sessions. For me, exercise is what helps me…
