Sounds like a slight infection. Do get an appointment to get it seen to asap. In the meantime try cooling yourself before feeding. Cold cabbage leaves are easier to slip in your bra than a pack of frozen peas, lol. And may be a relief after too. Also take paracetamol.

Walking 5 miles or more, five days a week, every week. And thank you!

Ha! With my third I was in the hospital about 25 minutes before he arrived. I just kinda threw my notes in the direction of the midwife and asked for the entonox. Never caught that midwife's name nor do I remember what she looked like even.

Being a ftm can be a lonely business and feeling alone can start a cascade of lost confidence and worse. Do you mix with other mums? What do you do with your time other than look after baby and housework? Get some hobbies, so that you continue to achieve - cross-stitch, gardening, painting, card-making, walking marathons,…

I've avoided this topic mentally for a long, long time. I really hate the idea of not having more babies and being past the baby stage. I now have five kids, the eldest eleven years old, the youngest six months old. This is where my head tells me I have to stop, however I love being pregnant and having babies, so my heart…

@vhines57 - you're doing really well. What's your goal? @eslcity - hope the painkillers help. You are far enough ahead to sit out a few days for recovery and still make 100.

Seeing the numbers dropping down is the best motivation there is. Steel yourself to put 110% effort into a lifestyle change for just two weeks and I bet the results will motivate you to continue. Weigh yourself and take all your measurements beforehand, then eat at a deficit for two weeks. You CAN lose the weight and…

I've also been losing the weight I gained when I quit smoking. You clearly know the theory and just have to put it into practice. Set yourself small goals and build up from there - like logging everything you eat on weekdays or cutting out snacks and replacing them with fruit or raw veg. You obviously have the will power…

Good on you! What's up with May? There's still time to set yourself a new goal.
